As someone who has caught 2 game balls in my life, I can tell you that it is a great feeling to catch a ball. It’s not about the ball itself….its about catching it. His act of giving it away may be a step in the right direction…..but he’s interfered with thousands of people who have never had the opportunity or thrill to catch a ball. Tracking balls, running all over, down the aisles, over seats, etc is selfish in my opinion.. I know he’s certainly not the only one who does it, but still.

I was sitting there the entire time this happened. Even after Zack walked away the usher wouldn’t stop talking about what happened. He was very ignorant toward Zack and mocked him for at least 30 minutes after it happened during batting practice. He said, and I quote “I don’t care who he is or how popular he is. I’ve gave out autographs too it doesn’t mean you’re important or matter.” I couldn’t believe how unprofessional he acted. Saying how he wanted to kick Zack out of the park for walking pass an invisible line with no signage saying you can’t cross from one section to another.
I feel a line was crossed here. Don’t record people just trying to do their job and include their name and face. Yes they could’ve turned a blind eye, but you’re in a lucky situation here getting to go to all these ballparks and make a living on it. I’ve never been allowed in a section where my ticket wasn’t for at any of the 14 mlb parks I’ve been to, with the exception of late in blowouts and after rain delays. This wasn’t them targeting you it was just people doing their jobs (quite possibly someone complained too, which shame on them for doing so, but the ballpark staff still has a job to do even at that). These ballpark staff have a hard enough job, don’t make it harder.

Some kid and her father kept coming into our section from a different section at Dodger stadium to get a between inning ball from Cody Bellinger. It was okay once, but every inning? So, the usher and my crew finally blocked them from coming down our aisle and Cody through us a ball. They were pretty annoying.
Lmao your “crew” is so tough blocking a CHILD in “your” section. Luckily you had an back up from an usher otherwise who knows what kind of knots your panties would’ve ensued 😱

You sound like a d0uche. A little girl and her father wanted a ball and they got too close to you and your "crew", so you made a stink and got the usher to block them? That is what you are saying? And you remember this story and brag about it in a TH-cam comment section? This crowded baseball stadium filled will people was too overbearing because of a little girl? Nice. You do not sound great. And it is threw, not through. You should have helped the little girl get a ball so she walked away happy...Not encourage and brag that your big boy "crew" blocked a little girl. idi0t.
While I appreciate a lot of what you do ,it's pretty simple for the stadiums. They can't have grown adults running around concrete ,and hard surfaces while looking up for a baseball. It's a recipe for disaster with small kids around blind corners. I've seen you run around blind corners. You are quick and agile. If someone is carrying food around that corner ,at least you have a mess and pissed off person ,and most likely bruises ,and contusions, Also , a lot of stadiums have the free for all bleachers ,but many have gone to customized seating. I too don't want people running in and out of my reserved area. And to autographs... I also wouldn't want someone standing on the landing blocking the view of the game. I get it ,but it's a liability thing for stadiums
I think that’s his main issue, his entitlement is through the roof, what he’s doing isn’t an issue bc he catches the ball then gives them to kids but it’s just the entitlement that gives him a bad rep
How is it entitledment???? He gose to different stadiums to catch baseballs and have a good time like everyone else. Everyone knows your allowed to use that walkway to catch hr balls and for some reason when he catches one people get so butt hur for no reason sure he's caught like over 10 thousand baseballs but he doesn't keep half of them he gives them away to kid obviously yall are the ones who needs there heads checked because there is nothing entitled with what he's doing
I agree 💯! Hample got Hampled stop whining Zack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! See you in Tampa knocking kid's and old men over. Like you did to 70 year old Butch in Philly.
Here’s the thing, how do you know that someone didn’t make a complaint, or that the security in your section didn’t get told by a supervisor to talk to you. I have been to many games with people filming themselves and ball hawking and seen plenty of them get complaints from people. Security is there to make everyone’s experience good, and it just so happens that on that day they had enough of you. It happens. They could have articulated their reasons better but At the end of the day They are just doing their jobs. I’m happy that you talk about the fields with reverence, and that your love for the game is present in your videos, and that you have pleasant interactions with fans of your videos, but you gotta understand it from an entire crowds point of view, 99% of the people are at the field to enjoy the game, not watch ball hawks chase after homers, or call down to the players for balls in between innings. Yea when you are doing things like that your gonna get harassed by security now and again, maybe don’t look at that as them trying to ruin your experience but to save the overall experience for the rest of the crowd. Ball hawking is an annoyance, and can lead to people getting hurt.
@@slipk1169 he got his point across though. I know if I was at a game and somebody acted like this dude and shoved me out was just running around the way he does I’d have a problem. He’s a grown man sprinting thru the crowd
I like how you understood from the security perspective without hating on the man. With that being said Zack hasn't really hurt anyone and at the end of the day he's gonna keep doing what he loves. Honestly I go to games all the time. As long as your not being over aggressive. I don't have a problem with it. If you get hurt at a baseball game it's because you aren't paying attention.
I hate the backlash you're getting in the comments right now dude. The fact that they stopped you from crossing sections and took a homerun ball away from you just because "they can" is absurd. You're absolutely right, this is a game for entertainment, not enforcing dumb rules.
Hey there! You are sitting in our season ticket seats, I hope you enjoyed them! They are the best seats in the world (and jokingly why I married my husband). Unfortunately, since Covid, the Rockies have changed the areas that we are allowed to walk under the tunnel, dictated by MLB regulations. Usually there are stanchions blocking fans from getting into the garage door area. We used to be able to walk from Gate E straight into our seats but they aren’t allowing that, now you have to enter through Gate A. Before you bash the ushers I also have to say, as season ticket holders it’s so hard to have people constantly moving between sections trying to catch balls. There have been major problems that you aren’t exposed to being a guest in the stadium for a few games vs sitting there for the season. I’m glad you were able to enjoy the game from our seats, and I hope you kept the seat warm for us!
First of all Zack, it was a pleasure meeting you the day after this game on Sunday (dude with the Blue Jays hat) but I could definitely tell there was something off, you just didn’t seem the most energetic but now I know why. How could you enjoy the thrill of being at a Baseball Stadium that takes all the fun out of the game and honestly it’s taken so much from Baseball fans here in Colorado. The Monfort’s need to sell this team to someone that actually cares about their team and their fans, it’s been so disappointing as someone who tries to root for the Rockies but they make it so hard to do so. If ownership is terrible at the top, it definitely trembles down to all the workers and employees working there and it’s no wonder why they were making it so hard on you and what you love to do most. Either way thank you for always trying to do what’s right for your fans we appreciate it. Hopefully you’re able to hit that 12k later on this year much love from Colorado
Hey! Thanks for the nice long comment, and yeah, I was not myself at the game after this. Much back atcha from NYC (chillin here at home between trips).
Pretty disappointed in the Coors Field staff here. I live in the Denver Metro area and take my family to a few Rockies games every year. We always have a great experience, but it's disheartening to see that they're unnecessarily strict when it comes to enforcing completely arbitrary rules that don't exist at any other stadium.
It's not even that the rules don't exist. It's low payed individuals in a semi powerful position and they get to invoke authority. Most of the time, it's just an attitude that they develop in order to secure their job
I get out to Coors Field and Denver in general once a year (I just went a couple of weeks ago) and have always had great experiences there. It sucks that they would restrict people from moving from section to section to just get a ball. Ugh. Great look underneath the stadium. I have never made it down there before.
The game I went to I didn’t have any issues. I sat behind the Phillies dugout and it was a blast. I think this old man was just being a d bag about it. Keep Doing your thing Zack! Love the videos buddy! Don’t worry about the hate! It’s just internet trolls my man!
Keep doing what your doing man! I'm a Cubs fan from Italy that through your videos can feel what a real baseball game is like. Next time hopefully I'll go to my first game, after being to multiple nba games
I feel you should grow up and realize that you have got like a million different baseballs during games and that it doesn’t matter how many you get and that the Rockies personal we’re just doing their jobs even if you don’t like it
So in your world what rules would you set up and enforce to make sure evil Zack and those like him are restricted from moving around stadiums? Baseball is meant to be innocent and fun FOR ALL AGES. I guess that idea has gotten lost on many
I think that what is currently set up is fine, you don’t have to run around and push through other people who paid for that area to get a singular baseball. He should let kids who are at the game get a chance to catch the baseballs and he should be happy that he can even get good enough seats to catch baseballs during games.

I think it's annoying for people running around shagging flyballs in stadiums weather it be safety issues or just being where you're not supposed to be. I agree with other comments you're giving a free pass for everyone to do this. Going to a park should be relaxing not having people rush to where you sit when a HR ball comes your way. With that said I think the staff wanting to take the ball was ridiculous. They should have kicked him if they thought it was warranted but there's no excuse for taking the ball. Zack should have kept it, handed it to a kid and left. Zack is a popular figure around ballparks and no one should have him refrain from signing autographs (that's downright laughable on the staff) but do it in the section you're assigned to not all over the park.
Agreed with usher, stay in your section during the game, this is why they have ushers showing you were your section is during the game, you can’t go behind home plate (different section) whenever you want same goes to left field to right field for home run balls

In my opinion, if they felt like you were being a disruption to other patrons then the staff has every right to enforce the rules. As for the homerun, if you crossed over a line to which you weren’t allowed to then you are trespassing no ifs ands or buts about it. Whether you agree with them or not if they issue rules, you have to abide by them especially to set a good example.

These ballpark staff have a hard enough job, don’t make it harder.
first off ive done this and its extremely easy its not hard at all..its all about your attitude to people if you hate your job thats what you get..bro look at where his seat was it wasn't in a 'section" it was a walk way

If someone is carrying food around that corner ,at least you have a mess and pissed off person ,and most likely bruises ,and contusions,
Also , a lot of stadiums have the free for all bleachers ,but many have gone to customized seating. I too don't want people running in and out of my reserved area.
And to autographs... I also wouldn't want someone standing on the landing blocking the view of the game.
I get it ,but it's a liability thing for stadiums

I been watching your series and I still can't comprehend you still give these balls away it is remarkable.

I think that what is currently set up is fine, you don’t have to run around and push through other people who paid for that area to get a singular baseball.

That is sad the Colorado Rockies Organization need to investigate those coworkers and you should count that home run ball
Zack! Dude I’d count the baseball. It’s frustrating that the security there is making the game experience less than enjoyable. I don’t understand why the supervisor stopped you from signing autographs for the kids, I guess someone hurt that woman 🙄🙄 Anyway keep grinding dude and stay up! I love the videos! Oh yeah….Go O’s!!!! #Birdland
Thanks and go O's indeed! Security told me I could sign for people all the way at the top of the bleachers in the concourse, which is basically the equivalent of saying "miss the game if you want to make these kids happy." So lame.
@@zackhample What's funny is that JiDion got a nice little haircut at a NBA and everyone thought it was funny as hell. When you do something with the MLB, its the complete opposite
Thanks that sucks for u but keep up the great videos
Thank you.
I feel like your treating yourself like royalty. You paid for your seat. Stay there
That guy who made the comment about the old A-Rod situation was just trying impress his girl. Zach shutting him down was great to see.
