For the 5” ktail I like it unweighted, that way I can wake it on the surface, but both weighted and unweighted are good. Now with the 4” ktail I like it weighted because it swims better with the weight. 7” ktail it all depends on how you wanna fish it, fishing deep then I recommend with weighted, but if you’re fishing shallow with it then unweighted should be fine! Hope that helps.🤝

How do they compare to the Stradic?
Not to sure because I don’t have any experience with the Shimano Stradic, I know they’re both solid reels. I’ll look into the Stradic!
