Fun fact: Crocodiles’ muscles that close their jaws are so large that they spill out behind their head, which is why their necks look fat when they lay down
But all those muscles are for closing their jaws. Not opening. That's why you see some pretty good sized gators muzzled with just a few turns of electrical tape or literally just holding their mouth closed. Its crazy.
Fr, Gustave managed to get his level up to level 78 which made it so he unlocked a rare ability that no other predator main thought was possible. The ability to hunt an adult stage hippo which is unheard of because of their high defense and health along with the fact that he is resistant to the intimidation perk and we know this is true because if you spectated the server that he was on you could see how the hippo mains decided to stand their ground against him instead of charging like they would've done with any other croc player because they don't want to be sent back to the character maker menu.
a truly legendary player. A nile crocodile reaching the sizes of saltwater crocodiles is already insane, but then the players that he managed to hunt were even more of a mindblowing feat. Truly, the greatest Nile crocodile on the current leaderboard.
ONE OF THE BEST THINGS ABOUT THE CROCS IS THAT THEIR AFK STRAT IS INSANELY EASY. Crocs never fully sleep, instead allowing half of their brain to rest at a given time giving them the ability to afk and camp the resource even harder. Another thing is that crocs can possess the black dot trait which gives them an insane amount of sensitivity on the lower jaw. They can feel vibrations in the water, temperature differences and the difference between different textures. This sensitivity is 10x the sensitivity of the human finger and the crocs detection is increased greatly, making it impossible to sneak up on a croc in the water
Crocodile: "Haha, suck it snake, this is what you get for hanging around in my--FUUUUUUUUUUUUU...." Or: A group of crocodiles tried to bite different parts of an elephant so they could have a debate about what it was--STOMP. And so, that debate had to be left to a bunch of blind human mains instead.
"Why are you so scared of crocodiles?" "Hah, gee Cyril, maybe deep down I'm afraid of any apex predator that lived through the KT extinction!" "The...?" "... physically unchanged for a hundred million years because it's the perfect killing machine; a half-ton of cold blooded fury, with the bite force of 20,000 newtons, and stomach acid so strong it can dissolve bones and hooves"
Croc sees a bird flying low: Alright, let me just stretch a little *proceeds to completely get out of the water in a perfect 90° degrees angle in one jump to eat the bird*
Yeah, that's insanity. Imagine trying to do that as a human. You can get what, 1/5, maybe 1/4 of your body length out of the water? How much more thrust would you need? 25 times? More?
It seems like he missed one of the key abilities of the class: extreme energy efficiency. Crocs require extremely infrequent meals due to their cold-blooded nature and ability to stay still and dormant for extended periods of time. This ability is essential to their resource camping strategy, it means they can always wait for meals to come to them, without having to expend energy searching for them.
True. The mammal faction tried to replicate the croc build before, but completely failed due to their need for food. They had to abandon that idea pretty quick. But they evolved into whales soon after, which more than made up for that blunder.
Not mentioned here is that gators have fantastic stealth, particularly natural camouflage. Which makes sense, as they are an ambush predator. Currently playing a human build with above average perception on a server with gator mains for 30+ years and I still frequently fail passive perception checks against them. (Thank goodness high INT let’s you infinitely reroll active perception checks, huh?) At this point all submerged logs are just innately suspicious to me. Let us not forget the croc main who went by the gamer tag “Gustave,” his build was so legendary that it even allowed him to tackle the number one faction in the meta game, humans. Having a human kill counter of at least 300 (though the exact number has not been officially reported by the data keepers) other players labeled him as the “Man Eater.” Unfortunately, human mains were so fearful of Gustave that they attempted to have the devs remove him from the game. In 2019 it was reported that Gustave’s croc main had vanished and he has not been seen on Outside servers since. I believe that the devs over at Outside banned Gustave in order to calm the human mains in the African server, who were afraid that their play through would be ruined by a 6 meter long killing machine.
There was also another player named Hitler, who switched from the Nazi clan to the Soviet clan following an epic clan battle. He was simultaneously loved and hated at his new clan. However, ultimately he was cared for deeply, and logged double the normal hours played as the average croc build. (For real, hitler the croc.)
@John Moore What? No look it up. The soviets and later russia had an alligator, confiscated from Germany after the war and named it hitler. So basically, it was a nazi alligator that defected to the soviet union and lived to like 90 years old.
Brother, this build has dominated one of the most resource heavy and thus intense servers for 240 millions years, almost 50% of the time since the Beta ended. iS It oP yes it's OP! Imagine the millions of interesting min-max builds we could've seen if they didn't keep getting snapped in two by Suchian bite attacks.
Mosquitoes are a pretty specialized build, and their success is tied pretty closely to human success. Many insects builds spec into the "piercing mouth" ability, but most use it to drain small plants. Mosquitos instead drain animal blood for the extra nutrient points. But most animals have feathers, fur, or scales that require lots of energy to get through. But humans don't. And so, with the expansion of humans, mosquitoes really took off. If human mains get banned, mosquitoes will take a big hit though. Insect mains are crazy like that though, they really find the extremes of specialization like no other build can. I love playing them because each build is like no other build, but you can get screwed by the big patches.
I love this video. Although I think the developers are downplaying Drowning as a debuff. It’s more of a gambit kill. The chance of an enemy to escape drowning can decide their fate.
@@smolgrizzly4608 it probably won't die in a few days what on earth are you on about.

Also don't let something close your mouth. Cuz while their bites are impressive it doesn't take a lot of force to keep them close

Crocs require extremely infrequent meals due to their cold-blooded nature and ability to stay still and dormant for extended periods of time. This ability is essential to their resource camping strategy, it means they can always wait for meals to come to them, without having to expend energy searching for them.

But most animals have feathers, fur, or scales that require lots of energy to get through. But humans don't. And so, with the expansion of humans, mosquitoes really took off. @@smolgrizzly4608 it probably won't die in a few days what on earth are you on about. It will probably heal up actually since human logic regarding infections has nothing to do with a wilderbeast or any wild animal. They literally all are infested with parasites constantly drinking their blood and digging in their flesh. They don't cook food or wash their hands or drink filtered water either.
Nope
you are forgetting animals have pretty impressive immunity.
6:27 61% of the people watching aren’t subscribed. That’s rough buddy.
Better than only 61% of the subs watching
That's honestly really good compared to alot of other channels
I can imagine you in school saying”actually mrs.applepie crocs are op bc they resource camp” and the teacher listening
this guy needs to make a video game where everyone picks a species with a group of friends and survive .
It should have different gamemodes, one where you play as animals today, one where you can play as prehistoric animals, and one where you can shape their evolution yourself
I think the best we ever got was Spore... a far cry from what a tierzoo game would be. It'd be a real challenge though because players already kind of know what builds are good and what builds aren't... so how do you enforce diversity becomes the main challenge.
@@TheDSasterX I'm still waiting on Spore 2, I think it could be a great minigame if they ever go back and expand on what you could do in the first one.
The isle?
Yeah I might work on a DND campaign with some home brew races like that at some point

"Galloping Crocodilians!" sounds like an exclamation from a comic book.
Hell, I think I may start doing this my damn self.
or maybe "Galloping Gators"
@@VeryPeeved That's better. "Great green galloping gators! What happened here?!"
Omfg this made me laugh so hard
Although terrestrial crocs never got outcompeted, this is one of the best Tierzoo videos
"Yes, but like most high-tier predators Crocs have shitty matchups against humans-"
GUSTAVE HAS LOGGED IN
Its like Rangchu and the panda in Tekken. Its a build that Gustave has mastered to the extend he consistently manages to take out higher tier classes.
Human has left the server.
@Guacamole Nigga Penis a human with an ak= low tier? what
@Guacamole Nigga Penis they shot him (or tried) is what i'm saying
@Guacamole Nigga Penis... Uh... Are you saying a crocodile killing people is 'murder' right now?
Interestingly enough, in this game, spinning is actually a very, very good trick.

Only croc deal with absolute barrel roll
Johnny joestar intensifies
Granted, it's spinning on an axis that keeps the other combatant in eyesight, but yeh
Imagine that when you die, you just wake up to a computer and go for another game.

Actually don't, no guarantee I'll be able to score chicks there either.
Knowing how fucking immersed I get in my games, that's likely
@@dag_will2615 you mean how immersed your _character_ gets, not you ;)
