suicidally stupid behavior also often occurs while trying to develop their social skills and social status buuuut given how complex those behaviors get in many human social groups that's almost understandable.

One observation during the mating questline: I think the fact that you were battle-scarred and had a lower max HP as a consequence also factored into finding a mate. If you could survive a battle even with such a wound, and continue to survive with that debuff, than your base stats were probably already pretty stellar.
Not necessarily, as a male build you also get a small bonus once the female completes their quest. Most builds however gain so little experience from this it is almost not worth assisting the female in the quest. Selecting a mate with battle scars could indicate that they are a risky player and/or unable to defend the new players as a result of the injury.
When they started the mating part, and the beat dropped and they started dancing in unison, I absolutely died. Hardest I've laughed in a minute. Overall, good run.

"You cannot realy rely on your team mates in this game"
I'm playing the current meta in the 20.20 patch; and this still rings true.
In many builds I would argue that co-op is still crucial and usually reliable as well.
I know that it is frowned upon to praise builds that completely break the meta but human players have found an interesting method of incentivising co-op.
They do this using established value and trade and while most valuable resources aren't accepted by all human factions other resources are. This leads to established tangible benefits to players who engage in team strategies such delivering and serving food to populations that don't have access to nearby exp drops and thus expands the types of playthroughs a human player can experience. Although, this system doesn't benefit all human players equally which has caused some tension between humans with different attributes.
As a virus main, the 20.20 patch has been pretty good looking so far, albeit very short runs but that's a virus playthrough for you.

What were you saying or thinking in your final moments of your run
I really like this way of teaching people about dinosaurs, it might be much more effective towards kids than a regular documentary when it's in the style of a video game
That duel you had with with the tarbosaurus player has taught me that engagements are a lot more than just spamming all your attacks:
Slash: A weak long ranged attack that's very safe and depending on your build, and is the best attack to use in neutral or to punish an opponent. It also has the highest chance of a critical hit, which deals a ton of damage.
Bite: Most builds' most powerful attack and, unlike the slash, still has great accuracy at point blank. The grapple version is great for draining enemy stamina if they're in a lower weight class, and for resetting neutral against enemies in similar weight classes.
Intimidation: If you don't have an opening to attack, and aren't looking to kill the opponent, then this is a good move to use to try and give your opponent intimidation debuffs, or end the fight by making them flee.
Bash: This attack tends to be weaker on less extreme builds, doing low damage and leaving you WIDE open if you whiff. However, it's the easiest attack to cancel into after whiffing a slash or bite to try and avoid getting punished. The low chance of knocking over an opponent is also handy for combo setups. It's also a good follow up after landing a slash or bite.

Me: *spends 0 points on aesthetics*
TierZoo: ...'but you have to spec a few points into cosmetics to reproduce'

Well, if you still wanna reproduce, a lot of builds in the microscopic weight class can do so all on their own.
I dont know if saying that is worse than just saying he didnt spend enough aesthetic points on his ween
Aesthetics option is nonexistent for some of us, while others can unlock it and reach the '10/10' level, granting the ability to not have to do as much work as others to gain much more XP than the less fortunate human mains
Makes me wonder if there's any build out there that invested heavily in cosmetics when it wasn't ready, but got lucky as hell and survived anyway.

All in all, the raw power of the meta back then was open to a lot of counterplay.
