Reminds me of 2010 Topps Triple Threads Lou Gehrig 1/1 had modern jersey swatches on it. They made it right by replacing the swatches with a cut auto instead, but I always wondered where was the supposed real gamer swatches??

Copy from Topps Rookie card #1 the front and back say's Rookie's on upper deck card, 2- five years anniversary & rookie's the same time 3- it's reprinted card.4-Tow different COMPANY the same #1 photo, Upper deck & Topps 5- very rare hard to find in good shape. 6- 30 years old card if you have one in good shape don't sale know
The hobby is lost. In either case...those autographs cut aren't that hard to find. Ruth signed for everyone. He was one of the first guys to sign until everyone got one. He signed constantly. Brett....who cares. Slamming them into a card to artificially create rarity is stupid. Cutting up memorabilia to do it is even worse
Zero knowledge with card collecting but why wouldn’t the mistake make that card possibly even more valuable? Or was it a real signature and not a print?
@@sammyrockywelly yes, they’re specifically called cut autos. How else would they get autographs from people who’ve passed away haha. And for the players that are still alive, they autograph straight onto the card.
Pokemon cards with errors go for ridiculous amounts of money. I know Panini isn't known super well for their product quality control. I really feel like a neighbor of the significance should be worth something if it is factory.
