Treasurer 'expecting to do another' budget before the next election

Treasurer Jim Chalmers says he is “expecting to do another” budget before the next election.
“A lot of you have asked me, ‘is this the last budget of the parliamentary term?’ My answer to that is I’m expecting to do another one,” Mr Chalmers said at the National Press Club on Wednesday.
“We’ve already started thinking about next year’s budget.
“I’m anticipating that it will be on this side of an election.”

How the hell can he think he will be doing another budgetfefore the election. That’s in about march next year. Only 1 budget per year.
