Great job on detailing the interior storage pockets for EDC gear in the KATARA-16! Especially on the 3 Way Access Pocket that can be setup for top access or left / right side access (sling pack configuration). Awesome to see the CCW Holster accessory used to retain a large external battery pack as well! Best Regards, Alex @ Vanquest
How about the hot spot when you wear it as a sling configuration? It climbs up you neck and rubs on neck! I believe I contact you guys about it over a month a go and never got any type of reply!!!
Simply, WOW!!! This was one of the most thorough and well done product reviews that I've ever seen!!! I really like how persnickety your are in your reviews, you never seem to miss a single detail no matter how insignificant that detail may be!!!
Wow I just came across this bag and man you make me want it now, such a intuitive design and everything looks like vanquest put a lot of time and R&D from a user standpoint (practicality, durability, etc. ).
This is an awesome review. I got mine here in the Philippines two weeks ago and it is now my everyday backpack. I had to "retire" my Maxpedition Lithvore because this Katara suits my needs more. Thanks for the review as this validated my thoughts on this backpack.
Hey Jeremy are you still planning on uploading videos? You have some of the best organization I have seen. Your YT subs have been wondering what you been up to brotha!
Morning, Eric. I wanted to write back and thank you for the kind comment. I sure appreciate you taking time to watch the video! Please stop by anytime.
Herbie Rickteroff : Thank you for watching, Herbie. It is a sweet pack. The knife is a Kershaw. I’m not sure of the model, because it was a gift. I believe it may be a leak??
LearningToBePrepared thanks for the quick reply and I got another question, do you think the bag could fit enough stuff for a weekend trip or just an overnight trip?
Jonathan Kjær Andersen : Well, in my opinion, it’s more of a small EDC bag. Stuff for a day. I might could use it as an overnight bag. If you did not have to have but a little bit of clothing, you might could make it 2 days. If you did not need any clothing it could easily be 2 days.
Bonjour, juste pour information, si tu vas sur ma chaîne, je présente des produits de chez VANQUEST et j'annonce une nouvelle aussi pour la France avec les produits de chez eux...😀😉
Hey Jeremy. I have a question about the Ibex backpack that is no longer carried by Vanquest. Is there any way I can reach you other than the comment section? Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!
Hey buddy I know I was supposed too chat with you.. I couldn't find your email.. but I hope you are ok.. you haven't posted in a little while.. Again I hope you are ok....
Hey. Thank you for taking the time to watch. To answer your question, 😂, I’m not sure what to say. But, I would say my top 3 are the Vanquest Trident-20, Falconer-27, and the Katara-16. Man, I struggle deciding.
I like your idea for a hidden pocket location. I think it would be a good place to store valuable items when traveling (passport, money, identification, or air plan boarding pass).
Hey. Thank you for watching! Unfortunately, the laptop pocket will most likely not hold a 15” 😂. I’m not sure if you could just slide the laptop into the main pocket itself, tho 😀
LearningToBePrepared Thank you so much for the fast reply! Youre video’s are very informative, great Job! With kind regards Michael from the Netherlands.

Great idea using the ccw holster to secure the battery bank. Mine just stays at tbe bottom of my bag. Your idea makes it easier to access. Great vid!👍
Your videos are always really well done, though, and informative. Thanks for sharing!

Great video man 👍💪
Thank you for taking the time to watch and let me know!
Did you safety check that ankur first? Remember, treat all chargers as if they are loaded!
😂. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch. I appreciate that. Have a great week!
What kind of knife is that...the silver one? Awesome bag!!
Herbie Rickteroff : Thank you for watching, Herbie. It is a sweet pack. The knife is a Kershaw. I’m not sure of the model, because it was a gift. I believe it may be a leak??
Ok. Thank You! Enjoy watching your videos! Planning on get one myself...the bag!
Is the loop panel on the outside strong enough to securely hold morale patches? I read a review that said it is not.
Silvo : Thanks for the question. I haven’t had any problems with patches that I’m aware of 😀
Thanks for the response. Does the button on the back of the bag feel uncomfortable pressing on your back when the backpack is full?
What amount/size of items can you fit in the main compartment if you don't use the big internal pocket?
Jonathan Kjær Andersen : It’s a 16 liter size bag, so I’d say that about 13 liters worth of stuff.
LearningToBePrepared thanks for the quick reply and I got another question, do you think the bag could fit enough stuff for a weekend trip or just an overnight trip?
