You helping the guy in the gym is top grade human stuff. You remind me of a Brian type, after only one WSM. You know what youve accomplished, but still humble. That's cool.
Mitch is so nice it’s kind of annoying lol. On Saturday morning he came out an hour before competition into the rain because there was a delay. He was handing out stickers and taking pictures. I was able to finally meet him and get a selfie. One hour before the final started he came out to the rain to meet people because he knew we were out there miserable stuck waiting. The guy is just too nice and yes, he reminds me a lot of Brian when Brian was in his prime. I think Mitch is going to be unstoppable for a few years just like Brian was. Always being respectful to others. I have a feeling he’s going to take over a massive fan base now that Brian is retiring.
I think he’ll get the Bryan fan base that is being left behind. Also he has Canada in his back pocket for sure. He’s Canadas first athlete to win WSM and to do it so decisively. Streets and gyms will be named after him soon.
Agree his attitude is very Brian like but better ate technology lol.

Imagine just training in your local gym and as you do your final deadlift set the Worlds Strongest Man comes over to cheer you on then spends 5 minutes giving you advice! That young guy was super respectful too.

As a Canadian myself I am so happy that someone like this represents Canada in this sport. If this guy remains injury free he has a good chance to become one of the greats.

Bro I'm pretty proud, I just hit 100kg (225ish pounds) for 14 on the bench the other day. So I'm almost strong enough to match the Mooses chill back off set on a recovery workout. Let's goooo!

Fair dos that is solid! Bench is one of my weaker lifts, been stuck on 225Ibs for far too long
@Don burgenstocks one thing that seems to work really well for bench is Frequency with a little bit of variation. As an example, 3 days a week, one heavy day, one pause day and one volume day

Please Put more information on the website explaining how these programs work! It was not clear that this was actual coaching and looked more like just a pre-defined general program!

For the deadlifter. Dude you can fight. So you can be a amazing lifter keep going champ. If you want to be a wsm or powerlifting WC then visualise. Worked for me.
