Here are one of the UK's oldest and most established collegiate groups, The Northern Lights. Comprised of members of Durham University, The Northern Lights have always strived for a strong focus on their vocal sound over everything, placing 5 times in the ICCA London final. This is Northern Lights' 10th generation as a group, and some could say...better than ever?
This year, the group is directed by Nicklaus Lau, with arrangements from many members within the group to form a rep of true musical diversity. This Vocal Room was appropriately shot in one of The Northern Lights' rehearsal rooms, a seminar room. As the only collegiate group of Season 1 of The Vocal Room, it demonstrates even more clearly the world class standard a collegiate group can be.
