- Altgang! What's good, in this video we react to NF Only. Very sad to be concluding the NF Journey, I think I've done all the songs on The Search? That would be awkward if i haven't... I kind of went on long rants in this one so bare with me. Really enjoyed this track, it made meditate a lot on how perplex NF's music can be at times.

If you are looking for an artist similar to NF i would recommend Twenty One Pilots. They probably have the most cryptic/deep lyrics on the big stage at least
I was about to comment EXACTLY this. Especially since this song itself perfectly shouts out TØP Stressed out. 21 pilots ftw for sure. Id love to hear you go through their cryptic journey. So many symbolically beautiful REAL things. They share a pretty fair amt of the same fan base.

Man you really stand out in reacting to music, I love every single video of you and even though I was listening to NF way before I found you, you managed to give me a different view to the meaning of his songs which in the end makes it even more enjoyable to listen to. Will be watching every video in the future because I feel like you can make me become a fan of songs I didnt even know before.

This is probably my favorite track off of the search to be honest. Idk what it is about it, but it never fails to make my wheels start turning. This journey has been one hell of a ride with ya brother! Love and respect to ya! Looking forward to whatever new content arrives. 🤙🏽

A suggestion for someone to check out is Crypt. If I’m being honest not many people listen to his music (I think Shaq and Knox are the only ones who have), but his music is pretty good
At the end of the day, I feel that for NF it's not about living a happy life, its about living a life that makes its inherent suffering worth experiencing and going through.

I think NF having a son could be the "hope" he's been searching for... If you think about it... Like, every mother or father wants to give their kid/s the upbringing/life they never had. Nate could look at this kid and think "I've gotta work harder. I can give my son the love, care, upbringing and childhood I never had". To be there as a father, his wife Bridgette, as mother. Something Nate didn't really have. Nate lost his mom to drugs, his wife lost her dad to drugs. They'll both want the best life possible for their kid. All of that, in my opinion, has to give the hope, happiness and motivation he's been looking for. The mixtape, I think, was a taste of what's to come. I think his next album, whilst will remain to who he is, it will be a more happy, a less mute NF when it comes to being overlooked by mainstream hip hop. Just my thoughts bro

Totally felt the same about how Just Like You was very similar to this track - bought to us from a different place in him that feels more comfortable... maybe that's why the beat was also more uplifting compared to this.
Your point about people craving 'likes' on social media and only showing their good days - with any social media in general I think is mainly about seeking external validation and something as a parent I've become increasingly aware of. Think about how many times as children being told someone was proud of us be it a parent, family member, a teacher at school felt good and we unconsciously try to replicate that to fill that "feel good" need - however - how many times are we told we should be proud of ourselves for the things we achieve. When it boils down to it I dont think it matters how many times we are praised by others if we are not taught we should be proud of ourselves too

Idk if you have ever reacted to twenty one pilots, but if you appreciated nf's stories and lyrics and if you're a hip hop head, my guess is that you'd love them and it would be awesome to get your take on them as well

You touched on how NF uses rap as therapy and some rappers like Lil Wayne seem to have more fun with it. I think the way we relate to music has a lot to do with how it affected us in our youth. We all had songs in our youth that spoke to us. This explains why NF who had a rough childhood and "Em's" music really spoke to him. Meanwhile Lil Wayne was, I would assume, having more fun in his youth as a artist at a young age. This is probably true of a lot of artist. I am sure they produce music that is similar in content, maybe not style, as the music that had the biggest impact on them in their youth. Unfortunately for me, Andy Gibb was one of the ones that really affected me emotionally and AC/DC had the most impact on persona. What the hell am I supposed to do with that? LOL
Only is a well deserved song to end the Journey.... One of my top three songs in General, if not the first

I'm not sure if you have checked out Jelly Roll but he's a great artist. Very Deep, lyrical and also has a ten min freestyle which is crazy good! NF, Jelly Roll, Snow that Product, and Savannah Dexter have been My favorite artists the last 2 years. I don't believe you would be disappointed with any of them.
I feel he still does it because he sees it helping others. Also, he is real, doing this is also a release for him. I feel the difference on the mixtape is, that it is more positive, even on Just like You, he brings out positive elements more.
