I just finished building a front winch bumper for my Wraith. All steel, hand made, and I T.I.G. welded the whole thing. Once the paint dries and I get the lights attached I will post it up in the RC Sparks forum. Nice work on the looks of the overall scaler!
Awesome man... Because of your videos I got into RC Crawler. I am already a big RC addict and now added a SCX10 into my collection. Now I started posting videos on TH-cam. Still all new to me
at 10:30 you said you hoped this video made us smile... Medic, I almost always learn from you when I watch your videos and I ALWAYS smile, something about seeing a guy enjoy his hobby as much as I do
I have used so many hours the last 2 days trying to fit this bumper with the body. Last night I finally gave up. Hope this will solve everything, Was nice to see that I'm not the only one that have been struggling. :) Thanks a lot Medic Marius Haugen
I struggled for 2 HOURS! I filmed this video 4 times... It was just a tough bumper to fit! but when I figured out how to do it.. I slapped my forehead. It is pretty simple.. once you get it. Glad it will help my friend. Pattttience.. you will get it!
I search ebay, but my son makes his own. I tried brass (channel+rod) you can cut and bend, solder it up then dremal smooth and paint=it won't take a big hit, but the bends adds some realism, like when you added the rust holes in the fenders, and the dents in you red Toyota. Great video by the way, I even liked watching you struggle a little bit, made me feel better about myself, keeping it real=good job my friend!
Medic I must say, I like every single one of your videos before I even watch them. Why? Because I know every time I am blessed with another video from the R.C. Sparks studio I know it will be perfect :) Keep up the good work, and I hope the little one is doing well!
Bumper Looks perfect on that Rover. I like it how ts left hand drive too. Never seen this one in action or at all before so seeing this is pretty cool.
Love that thing. Haven't seen one in person yet but they always surprise on videos how stable they are for how top heavy they look. Great bumper too lol
as a total novice, at 75 I'am about to get my first RC, learning a lot from you on the full build of the D90 Defender, keep them coming on future builds -...
Holey Moley!!!!! Someone actually older than me!!!!!! 😁 Hehehe, I'm just a big kid at 66 obviously! But I've had RC cars, on and off since about '85 -ish. Congratulations on getting your first (of many) RC vehicle Pierre!!🏆 How's it going? (my real name's Pete by the way). I recently bought my first rock crawler, a 1/10th FTX Ravine, by accident at a local model shop, as you do. I'm not so much into scale as the spider like appearance of rock crawlers as they advance slowly over impossible looking terrain! 🕷️
Great bumper!! I have an ARB winch bumper on my 1:1 Nissan Frontier, I just love the look of it. That Gelande is a sweet ride, keep up the great work!!!
MEDIC try taking some thin mono-filament or very thin wire and wrap it around the threads of the screws while leaving a long tail that you can use to thread through the holes and pull the screw through, then just unscrew or untie the line and put on the nut, also a great trick for blind inside frames or boxed areas
MEDiC that bumper is BOSS!!! I like it without the light buckets in the bumper. Great looking rig. Looking forward to seeing more vids. Oh I was on kind of a long trip last Monday so I went to your play list and watched an ol Eastridge hobby sponsored vid with a, blue car and silver flames I think it was Tamiya. But yea it was cool looking back. The old RC and shield too. Great vid keep up the good work!!
i am in the process of designing my own bumper. i have been using rc4wd bumper designs as well as 1:1 truck bumper designs for my sketches for the past month. hopefully in the next few weeks i will actually have one done haha. have a winch on the way and a stinger bumper is what i want so it needs done sooner or later!
huge fan of the show unfortunately I'm stuck using my stock bumper because the one I want is on backorder but it works just as good thanks again for what you do
Yes my friend! It's incredible to see how far that website has come..and everything they offer for scale trucks. I've been a happy customer for many years now. Hope you are having a good trip my friend :)
Looks AWESOME Medic! It looks so much more off-roady! Yeah that's the word... I bought Proline Ridge-line bumpers for my SCX10, I really like how they look.
***** I'm glad you get enjoyment out of them, man! That's just AWESOME!!! :) I should have said, I bought a month or 2 ago...They are holding up pretty good! It's slow becoming, more and more beastly every hop up part I get! lol I should get a little overview video on that thing, actually...Hmm, I'll put that into consideration.
was it crooked because the body wasn't screwed down? if the bumper and the hood line would even out it would look even better. well done Medic, keep up the great work.
Hay medic have you ever thought of doing sandscorcher build because I thinking of getting one and would like to follow u along the way. The the vids keep them going
Wats up dj medic just want to say congrats to u and Jem on ur son..but I got a big check coming my way in a month just want to ask u wat kind on crawler I should get and a few different rc cars and trucks I should pick up for me and my family..and before unknow it ur lil man is goin to get big..I have a 14 month old son jr..,it's the best thing in the world being a dad and a rc addict ..
Congrats on being a Dad! awesome! Are you speaking of a Crawler? The Trail Finder 2, Gelande 2, or an Axial Scx10 is the common choice. There are more.. but these are pretty good :)
Hey whats up, my son and I really enjoy your channel keep up the good work. But I was wondering what kit are you working on I would like get one its cool.
It's funny actually because I JUST got the RC4WD winch mounting bumper for my Gelande 2, only difference is mine's the Gelande 2 version and not the discontinued one. I too noticed the body wouldn't mount properly either, I actually used washers as spacers to push the bumper out more to make the body line up, but seeing this video will actually make me use this method as it's the proper and better method :D I appreciate this video man. As for your preference question, I prefer after market bumpers as I now own and use 2 (after market or upgraded) bumpers on both my Gelande 2 as well as my SCX10. I use the RC4WD winch bar bumper on the SCX10, hand welded steel just like the Gelande 2 bumper.
Awesome Bud!! I am So Happy this video may help you! Like I was thinking.. even if I could assist one person help mount up their bumper - then all the effort was worth it. High 5 Bro.. have fun and thanks for commenting!!
***** Im so excited im getting a Traxxas Stampede VXL 2x4 for christmas. Thank you for making me an RC addict medic!!!!! im enjoying the hobby so far!!
Hi Medic! I have read several threads in the forum "RC sparks" talking about brushless motors and water. Many of mates forum, say the brushless motors can not get wet, and HOWEVER, I see what you wet your ... is this plasti-dip necessary for this engine? Thanks dude. Your work is awesome!
Cool i also have to keep the stock bumper that mounting bracket is kind of to short Arb bumper will touch the grill of the body without the stock bumper i have a question about the rc4wd winch Does it come with the mounting brackets?
I've used the pro-line bumpers on my scx-10, took a T plate and bent it at the junction and mounted it to the inside of the back bumper for a home made hitch for now. Also on a side note....would a titan 775 fit into that Gelande? I need a new project and I'm really wanting to use it cuz I'm tired of it staring at me, I sorta feel bad for it lol.
Ey medic first of all thanks for your awesome video. I want to know what you think about the rampage xsc because thats what i want for cristhmas but im not sure and wanted to know i its a good chose thanks!
well i just watched a bumper mounting video and i was not at all bored!!!! because medic is doing it P.S the right side of the bumper is a bit on an angle
***** i am doing great for the holidays next week is the last week before the holiday!!! SOOO thats good as-well thanks for asking how about you, Jem and little maurice??
those lights are sweet! im getting ready to get my first truck, I wanna get an scx10. How difficult is it to install that light bar and how much wire work is needed to do something like that?
Medic, did you glue the interior inside the body ? - mine seems to fit kinda funny, and the interior sits above the doorframe slightly, and it becomes a pain to line up the screws on the chassis every time.
i'm a little backwards and bought the axial red kit for the wraith it was on sale could beat the deal 20% off and i don't even have the wraith yet. i was wondering do you have a video on putting a winch on a wraith?
Dear medic, I would like to someday meet you I'm in Georgia in the u.s. I watched almost all your videos.from the videos I've watched I learned you live in canada. I'm 12 y/o I like your videos. Sincerely, Matt

Bumper looks sweet! And so does the rig. Honestly, I never made thought of making a bumper before. Might give it a try sometime.
Looks amazing Medic the bumper does cover a bit of the lights.
I love that rim and tire combo. Perfect for that truck

Looks boss with the aftermarket bumper!
That bumper looks awsome. You could put lights in the middle of the bumper above the winch fairlead that would be boss
That bumper is perfect for that body. The lights are a little blocked but i think that you have more light than you need what looks good. :-)
So cool! I really want an RC after watching your videos, and this one is probably my favorite!
Love the tires. Can't wait for mine to arrive!
Pretty boss looking truck, would be good over here in Australia
looking good with that new bumper, solid looking love's that kind!
Really impressed with what I am seeing out of RC 4WD... that kit was amazing to start and I like it even better as you make it your own.
Yes my friend! It's incredible to see how far that website has come..and everything they offer for scale trucks. I've been a happy customer for many years now. Hope you are having a good trip my friend :)

Thanks for the vid. Now I know why mine did not fit. So I now have to put that original bumper and keep it behind there.
Cool man. Looking awesome like always
was it crooked because the body wasn't screwed down? if the bumper and the hood line would even out it would look even better. well done Medic, keep up the great work.

Hi Medic!
I have read several threads in the forum "RC sparks" talking about brushless motors and water. Many of mates forum, say the brushless motors can not get wet, and HOWEVER, I see what you wet your ... is this plasti-dip necessary for this engine?

i have a question about the rc4wd winch
Does it come with the mounting brackets?

Medic are you going to do a review on the Subzero
RC4WD scale crawler?
What scale? All in all it looks awesome!
Where do you get your driver figures? By the way excellent build, narration, and camera work.
Nice job medic I think the wheels are a little small for the truck
Have you ever been in a blackout and used one of your trucks to find things?
I love them wheels and tires
Now do a "dusk" trail video and run those lights
Ey medic first of all thanks for your awesome video.
I want to know what you think about the rampage xsc because thats what i want for cristhmas but im not sure and wanted to know i its a good chose thanks!

@ RCSparks Studio, you think you can make a video about the DHK 1/10 Brushed Wolf 4wd
Sorry for double post but wouldn't the LEDs use a lot of battery power?
Can you make some more videos of the hobbyzone super cub, and nice bumper.
those lights are sweet! im getting ready to get my first truck, I wanna get an scx10. How difficult is it to install that light bar and how much wire work is needed to do something like that?
Ok so I plan on putting a bumper similar to that one and getting a winch as well but will that bumper look good on the Dodge Ram
Medic, did you glue the interior inside the body ? - mine seems to fit kinda funny, and the interior sits above the doorframe slightly, and it becomes a pain to line up the screws on the chassis every time.
me too bud, doesn't line up very well.. Ill be looking at it more in the future
I love all your videos medic I was waiting to get a TH-cam for a long time all I wanted to do is subscribe so I can see even more videos from you
Hey medic can u do a video on your first truck please
Medic, love the Gelande, love the channel, hate the wheel/tire combo
i'm a little backwards and bought the axial red kit for the wraith it was on sale could beat the deal 20% off and i don't even have the wraith yet. i was wondering do you have a video on putting a winch on a wraith?

Dear medic,
