question.. why is my acrylic not runny like this? mine hardens so fast, is it bc of the monomer? if so what monomer do you use?

It can be the monomer and acrylic brand combo, powder to liquid ratio or the temperature in your room. The hotter it is the quicker it sets and a lot of ppl are starting to turn their heaters on for fall/winter .

@@aireka21 thank you! i don’t think it’s the temperature because i mostly do my work outside and it’s pretty cold here rn. but thanks i think i need to consider trying some new brands

The trouble I have is on each bead, no matter how many I’m doing, by the time I try to tuck the sides and cuticle area in, I cannot drag the centre down smoothly because the acrylic has already started setting so there always a step. I cannot get the smoothness 😩😩😩 I am a beginner. I’ve tried different monomers, acrylics, brushes, brush sizes, different consistency and I just can’t do it. 🥺
What am I doing wrong? 🙏🏼 x
