Jamie, those lights were the BEST DECISION! 👏🏼💕 The background looks so warm and inviting and I love that you can change it up w/ each video. Good call!!
I don’t know if that’s a Canadian thing but my NYer ears always perk up in confusion when I hear it. I’ve never met anyone that doesn’t just swallow the t sound haha
Jamie ! How do the nudestix blushes and those new Mac blushes you’ve been talking about compare? I have a dewy and matte nudestix blush, but been really interested in those Mac ones !
My winter faves are: - drunk elephant d bronzi - keeps the illusion I still have a tan😂 - Charlotte tilbury HFFFASSYG - also use it as foundation sometimes, when I feel super dull - Weleda skin food light - use it as a night cream, when I need extra help with skin, - l’oocitane beurre de karite hand cream - my new love for my dry ,dry skin🤭
*Jewellery is a game changer; not only it looks gorgeous but it also makes you feel so luxurious! I never leave house without my gold hoops and a couple rings. They also look exceptionally beautiful in pictures by adding pretty little details*
I didn't know you're from Montreal! I live in Ottawa! Side note, have you tried the Pixi Milky mist? It sounds like the Youth to the People spray you described! It's hyaluronic acid and oat milk, and I use it almost daily under makeup and to freshen my face throughout the day. Anyway loved this video!
Omg thank you for giving me a dupe for that spray cus after watching this vid I got intrigued and considered buying the YTTP spray but once I saw the price I went “nope”
Jamie, I think you would really like the Kate Somerville Goat Milk Cleanser. It is such a lux, moisturizing, cleanser. It takes all my makeup off and leaves my skin so soft and hydrated. Give it a try!
Definitely agree with your explanation of nars tinted glow booster. I have oily skin and I wear it alone and it's really glow from within ,no oily no shiny, just perfect.
I LOVE the Laniege lip sleeping mask, I’ve always had small-ish lips that peel a lot, and since using it nightly my lips are so hydrated and look so much fuller, it totally plumps and smooths out the lines on my lips! ❤️
Any day where there’s a video from you, is a great day. The reason why you’re my favourite beauty gal is because you are so in-depth and passionate about beauty and what it does for people. Plus we always love the same things so it’s like getting recommendations from my perfect double🧡
I'm from the tropics and never experienced cold growing up. But when I moved to Europe for my studies, I discovered I had a mild version of cold urticaria (allergy to the cold) and it was terrible! Swollen, red and itchy when I get exposed to the cold air for longer periods of time. I salute you people for dealing with this every year for months!
I LOVE the BSK sea buckthorn oil. I feel like people hate on it bc it has essential oils but it's a life saver for me in the winter morning bc it doesn't emulsify, using a warm cloth to remove allows my skin to stay hydrated. Great picks!
Alberta/Saskatchewan girl here- another holding a PhD in cold. I LOVE the Super Puff! I picked one up a few months ago from Aritzia in neon fuchsia and loooove it. You're right about how lightweight it is, I feel like whenever I wear my Canada Goose I am lugging around small rucksack because it is so heavy. Other things I can't live without for the winter: Bite Avage lip mask- I find it is a bit thicker than the laneige one and I don't have to reapply it as much. Ole Henriksen hand cream. Endless collection of cute tuques and mittens. Because its bloody cold. Block heater.
I have the D-Bronzi and forget to use it. By the time I remember, it will be spring. That blush color looks perfect - not the usual pink or coral but sun kissed for sure. I’m drooling over the by terry.
I’m from Philly so it def gets cold here. My favorite products for winter is an oil cleanser by Kari Gran, Pacifica super flower oil, Weleda milk cleanser and skin food. I also like Lush’s angels on bare skin scrub for face and body cause it’s super gentle and smells like lavender 💗

trader joes skin balm is saving me this winter. Ive been using it as a make up primer on my chin and forehead (where I get the flakiest) and as a lazy highlight. I put a bit of it in the dead ends of my hair after washing it to try to keep it from turning into actual twigs. and then on my cuticles, lips, and elbows too.
Hey Jamie, have you tried the Chanel Fresh Water Tint? Elanna Pecherle used it in her New Year, New Makeup video and it looks right up your alley. Would love to see you try it out and hear your thoughts on it! I feel ya on the Canadian Winter, especially when its basically for 6 months in Alberta, really messes with the skin!
I love the Lanolips 101 Ointment! It really helped protect and heal up some really bad dry patches I had on my face and around my eyes this winter. I also love the Coconutter one, it's thinner but great for my lips.
Live in Chicago and either walk or bike to work everyday, so I was super excited to watch this video as soon as I could and learn your tricks! Thanks for all your great recommendations! I've been piling on the laneige water bank moisturizer and using small amounts of weleda skin food on the cheeks and forehead for extra protection against the cold and wind. Also been using the bite beauty agave lip masks and overnight balm.
