Ended getting one recently and after daily driving a subaru and a honda they both seem to have pros and cons. I can say that the ride in the subaru is a bit more stiff and little more ratlly (body on frame) but at the same time the ease of maintenance is superb compared to the hondas overall much easier access to everything and if you run into any under bed rust you can just remove the bed and fix the issue.
Great video, exactly what I was looking for regarding these trucks and which one I should buy 🇺🇸 The video quality and everything is perfect, nothing to adjust.
So onto the videos. I like them all and you're doing great in my opinion. The quality is pretty damn good and I'd say don't change anything. Keep doing what you're doing and I'll like every single video you upload.. Also for me gimbals are a game changer even if you're new to filming/making videos. They're worth every penny and I recommend buying one for people starting a channel.. Anyways I like your style good sir and thank you again for sharing this great footage/content. 🙏🍻
Thanks, I actually bought a gimble a few months ago, but haven't used it yet. I cringe at the shakiness of some of my videos, but am trying to get better. I want to have better editing, more angles, music. I may need to take a class or hire someone, as the vision I have, and my actual end product is vastly different. Hopefully can get more aligned each video.
@@USMiniTrucks I’m learning that all of these trucks have their pros and cons like anything else but they are all awesome. Thanks for the response have a great day
Hello: I just found and subscribed to your channel today. I am in the Philippines and have never seen a Subaru mini truck. Only Suzuki with a 3 cylinder 660 cc engine. I have been thinking about a miini truck, but am probably going for a Mitsubishi L 300, I like the 4 cylinder diesel they offer. I enjoy your channel.
I have a 1987 Subaru sambar 550cc 2cylinder that is very hard to find. What’s the best and easiest motor to swap for her? I was told a arctic cat skidoo engine works good but I want to be able to change gears with my manual transmission
Not gonna lie I really do want one of these or one just like it. I'd do an engine swap but nothing too crazy just fast enough to get out of it's own way unlike what they come with. Plus I like how all the sides on the bed itself can be folded down for ease of loading.. Unfortunately all the ones I have found coming through Canada are usually too beat up and are way too expensive. Hopefully one day I'll get one because as I said I like these mini trucks a lot lol.. Thanks for sharing this and I hope yours is treating you well 🤞. 🙏🙏🍻
@@krakdskulkingpins6853I don't have a link sorry I just honestly look up 90's Subaru Sanbar for sale and had generally found a few but they don't last very long tho because they seem to be getting more popular and as of recent it's hard to find one that isn't way overpriced. Now you can still import them from overseas and if you're lucky maybe one from Canada but it's honestly better to buy one from someone who already has imported one from either it'll be much cheaper as far as no import taxes and shipping costs.
Honestly, one of those 3-cyl mini trucks can go just fine on back roads, the one I had maxed out about 35 and that was with 3/4 gears functional and an engine with ~500,000km on the odometer and no tune ups. It was glorious.
Where did you get your tires? I just bought a 1993 subaru sambar and I have street tires on it. Also did you have to change your rims before you bought your tires?
HiJets are great, but the only halfway reliable way to get one is to have it shipped from AUS or JPN (if you're in the US). Honestly, it's the same for any of these, Americans don't usually use these things (unfortunately).
Generally they're a tiny 14 inch tall tire and the width is a weird number as far as American tire's go but anyways that's as big as I've heard on this model and year.. It is hard to find tire's and rims though because of the small width of the tire needed, I guess American tire's don't generally come in such a small width so finding them is a pain and I heard that they can be quite expensive.. Now again that's just what I've heard, I don't know how true that actually is just to be clear.
Thank you Ben, speaking of copies - I think motochaz using the same intro? From what I've read, Subaru's have more after-market parts and the easiest tires? I had an 89 Subaru GL wagon and coming from "old school" trucks (think lockouts), found the shifter push button 4wd awesome - until I got an Audi Quattro.
if your going to stick the camera in your own face so much take off the silly glasses, but would be better to focus on the thing your talking about not your face.
One thing I like about My Sambar is it is a Van and the thing I dislike about it is it's not a Pick up! so I guess this means I need TWO Sambars?
I van and a truck is just the right amount.

Ii love my Subaru Sambar 4WDR.
Great video and very informative
I did not know it has a crawling gear.
Great video bud! Thank you:)
Thank you.
do you get better gas mileage when in 2wd?
Yes, that is a major benefit.
Hi Ben, thanks for the videos. Would you remember what type and size tire would’ve been on this truck? Thanks!
Are these titled?
Each state is different, we sell them without titles.
Nice that you are here of the tube so we can see your offerings.
Can you send me information about the mini truck 🚚 John E.May
Which one do you like better for yourself the Honda or the Subaru?
They are both good. I like both equally, it is like choosing which kid you like better, son or daughter?

I bought a 1990 Sambar Try XS Supercharged and was wondering can it be towed with all (4) wheels down? Say as a toad vehicle behind an RV?

Hey man, I dig and appreciate the vids! Exactly what wheels and tires are on this sambar? I just picked up a 94 sambar and looking for a good set!

I as well am curious of this. Just got a 94 sambar and in need of wheels and tires.
how safe are these from flipping forward? not just this one, but all minis
Each brand is different. We only sell Honda and Subaru ,they have the engines on the rear axle, better balance.
Not only is the engine in the back, but there's hardly any vehicle past the front tire
i really like the hijets, how often do you get those? and how much do they sell for with ac and a 5 speed
We only sell Honda and Subaru products.

Where did you get your tires? What brand are they?
I get them all over, these came from Walmart.
Are you getting any mini vans?
We have a Honda Van inbound, should be here in January.
@@USMiniTrucks what is the correct name. And I haven’t seen it posted on your website.
Where do I find the VIN number?
The Subaru is stamped in the frame by the spare tire and on the a-pillar on the older ones and the door frame of the driver side of the newer ones.
What brand and size tires are on that Sambar? I am looking for some for mine as we speak!
And...do you sell them?

Can I buy a Subaru sandbar 4x4 dump box truck from you to drive in America. I am a New York State auto dealer.
I don't think they're street legal in New York.
is the van also 4wd
Sure is if it's optioned for it
Any body want to trade a samovar for a Honda acty attack it needs 3 axles just had radiator fixed smokes
Bring some of those Toyota/Subaru/Nissan etc., mini Rv’s into the US. New and used, they will sell!! I will buy the right one!!

I think your videos are great 👍 keep it up. The camera shit will come. It’s not that easy I tried it recently and I suck at it haha
I'm interested in putting bigger tires on my 91 Sambar. What is the maximum size you are using without body modifications?
If you actually watch the video he answers this question. Lazy ass
Nothing like being unorganized when you start a video???
Great insight, thanks for sharing.
SAMBAR GOOD!
Sambar
No, its a Sambar
Dude! Get a tripod and show us the truck and the subject matter, not your face. You're not Ryan Gossling.
