- Here is a story from our cohort 4. A team is struggling through the case weekend, and the team members do not seem to agree on a meeting time. They progress on Saturday and decide to wake up early and meet at 6 a.m. on Sunday. Only 2 people turned up. It could be a story of any other team.
However, there is more to this story - two of these folks have a chat that morning about their professional goals, begin to build a professional relationship, and decide to become co-founders. A year later, they just raised 3 Cr for their new company. Piyush and Roshan found each other through Stoa. Piyush was already running a successful agency even before joining Stoa (he probably had more revenue than Stoa when he joined.)We at Stoa, were confident about making a warm introduction with Vaibhav Domkundwar (who is pretty much putting in the full money) and a couple of other funds because Piyush had kept in touch, was coachable, and always led humbly.
