The song Emotional Days hits so much harder after the breakup of GFriend. The lyrics express the pain and emotion of how they actually felt at that time almost like a prophecy of the future. The song is well named as it still makes me emotional listening to it and especially if I am reading the lyrics too. A beautiful but poignant song.
Sowon dubbed the voice of the girl friend of Astro Boy in the animation film released last month so she is still actively getting work albeit not singing any more. You could react to G-ING and G-Log videos of GFriend in the future which are mini videos of them having fun in lots of ways. Nobody reacts to them it seems so you could do a bunch of them together in a series of videos and have a lot of fun watching them with Buddies.
King Records used to be good in the late 90s-early 2000s, but things went downhill for them from 2011 onwards. When they can't keep up with the market trend that many new blood breakthrough artists are signing with Sony, Avex, EMI that willing to pump more investment than King Records, which they always on the "play safe" side and expect the contract partnership to spend more and they would rather prepare the venue instead. King Records have a good deal with anisong (anime songs) but they didn't put Gfriend (the group are known to have anime sounding before they hit Japan) through that path, which other records companies had put through artist/group like TVXQ, Apink and BoA in anime opening that skyrocket their career in the j-music industry and achieved their stage on Tokyo Dome. When the previous Gfriend's agency signed with King Records it should not be permanent unless you are some oldie group that had already passed the prime, many of the hungry new japanese artists usually use King Records as a stepping stone and quickly jump ship if they managed to find better promoter. The CEO of Gfriend's previous agency doesn't know how to pull connection and for years he always think Gfriend's success was mostly based on luck, as soon as he was lucky to have buddy in HYBE he became rather more like a runner scouting talents and eventually a corporate lapdog after Gfriend are disbanded
@GFD0116 Still better than Source music - also they are on Spotify if you are in Japan, a lot of Japanese music is region locked it's not specific to King Records.
Dmn I miss Gfriend that's why I'm searching people reacting to them. I like people loving their music too. I don't have friends and family that I can appreciate Gfriend together with. 😊
Same for me too. TH-cam is the only way I can share my love for GFriend with others. Friends and family just think I am weird and cannot understand why I would like them so much.
