Have I ever told you your accent gives me life?? I actually don't like Tolkien but I love that you do and some of these covers are to die for! Also that first one? Book goals for me. I ADORE old tattered books like this.
The Silmarillion is my personal Bible. I will never love another book the way I Love the Silmarillion. 💖 I enjoyed your video! A huge hug from Italia! 😆
The silmarillion is my absolute favorite out of all the tolkien books. The stories and the creation of middle earth is beautifully written. I recommend the silmarillion illustrated edition, the illustrations add so much to the story.
This video is basically my buyers guide now, I was amazed at all the beautiful vintage editions you own. I've never seen most of these! Very jealous, I must get my hands on most of these. Also the vintage top you have on looks very cute and very 80s!
i was so happy to see that you have these videos on you channel and it is so fun to be bale to see all of these amazing editions! I just finished my first ever read of "the fellowship of the ring" a couple of days ago after obsession over the movies for years and i can't wait to get into reading more of tolkien's book
Eeek my girlfriend lovvvessss Tolkien and I'm sure she would drool over your collection. Plus, this is only Part 1?!?! My favourites when it comes to collections are probably the ones with nostalgic value.
Wonderful collection! Do you have any plans of getting the single volume LotR 50th or 60th anniversary editions? Or the illustrated box set that came out this year? It looks absolutely beautiful
@@enchantedelfie That’s certainly a good mindset to have, but unfortunately in this case I have to recommend that you should not trust anything written by David Day, especially his maps. Luckily, though, there are plenty of other great guide books to Tolkien’s legendarium. Robert Foster’s The Complete Guide to Middle-earth, for example, is approved by the Tolkien Estate. My personal favourite is the Atlas of Middle-earth by Karen Wynn Fonstad, which has boatloads of incredibly beautiful and detailed maps of practically everything in Arda that Tolkien wrote about, maintaining a high degree of academic integrity and accuracy.

Really? My partner says I have a "TH-cam voice" 😂 I'm a sucker for lovely covers 😁✨

I was really interested in those David Day books, but apparently his writings about Middle Earth are inaccurate. :(
I've heard that too, I think it is interesting to read many different sources about Middle Earth though, even just for different opinions :)
