  • Join me on a walk to Tintern from Chepstow Castle, I mostly follow the Wye Valley Walk which takes us past beautiful viewpoints at Giant's Cave in Chepstow and the Eagle Nest.

Thanks Paul, the views made this walk so worthwhile - I didn't even know about Eagle's Nest until the day before.

You had to work hard & walk hard for those views, but it was worth it. Tintern Abbey is such an impressive sight.

Totally agree the views were worth it. Tintern Abbey is one of my favourite places - always love seeing it peak through the trees as you head down the road before it reveals itself in all it's glory round the last bend 🥰

The viewpoints were even better than I was expecting, in a way I'm glad I couldn't finish the Wye Valley walk as I got to see the Eagle's Nest viewpoint 😊

Many nice Viewpoints are also very welcome with me! That river where you cross the bridge from Wales to England, is that the River Severn, dear Jesse?! 😇🏞

Enjoyed that Jess end to end. New to your channel and will be returning. The ace from Chepstow was just right - I've enjoyed that route a number of times. Re-the Eagles Nest it can be tricky up there. My first time I took the wrong path. Bit wow - what a cracking view. Tintern is a dream. Subbed. All the best. Mark

@WyeExplorer Thank you so much Mark. I fell in love with Tintern when I first visited years ago, every time I visit it makes me so happy. Agree - Eagle's Nest is spectacular, I'm so glad I went back to see it.

Wow. That was an epic walk Jessie. We've walked in the Piercefield house & giants cave area before& we've also done the Eagles Nest walk but we went up the steps which was very dramatic & then can back down the gentle way. We haven't done the Wye Valley from Chepstow before though. It looks great. 😊😊

I can't even imagine climbing up the 365 steps - climbing down them was terrifying in places especially when people were coming the other way! 🤣
