Artemix it’s actually okay to use references in the beginning, even big artists use references , what makes you special is when you try to convert it to your own style and add your touch to it and be creative💞

I'm pretty good at drawing/"copying" existing drawings 1:1, so I think at least I've got some creative talent, but I could NEEEEEEVER draw something on my own. I'm always asking myself how you "learn" to draw? how do I get my brain to the point where it can visualize things on its own and bring it to paper?! sorry I'm not a native speaker, it's difficult for me to describe what I mean but maybe you understand :) so maybe you could film a video on how to learn/begin with drawing.. anyways love your vids 💚 love from germany!
First of all don't let some artists fool you. Some are great from imagination, but a lot of us use a reference, at least for the pose, and add imaginary details and stuff to it. That is a great way to approach it but sometimes it's hard to find the right reference. Another way is to study. Do anatomy studies but also quick figure studies, it will help you a lot but takes lot of work.

I got a set of cheap brush pen set with Inktober in mind...now life happened and I've already missed a couple of prompts =P those markers look fun! I used markers like those at Comic Con, they had workshop stuff like that, it was cool and fun (fun is obviously tge word of the day)

I know you said that you don’t mind the marker not having a brush tip, but I’m pretty sure they have markers out now that do have it. So do you think you’ll be trying those out and comparing? I think it’s only 42 colors or something similar One more question😂 I really want to get into markers and try them out, do you think I should get the regular ohuhu markers with the larger variety of colors or get the markers with the brush tip? Tasneem Mustafa Copic is better quality, but for amateur artists Ohuhu do the trick, and they’re MUCH cheaper. Copics are about $8 a marker and Ohuhu are $1-2. I don’t remember the exact numbers, but I’d go with ohuhu
Would you say these are the Art n fly markers are a better purchase? I know you reviewed them too. Did you have a preference for either and why? I’m trying to figure out which brand to get: thanks
Thank you for using the word "affordable" so many use the word "cheap" They are only cheap if you don't get your money's worth. I have suggested to others the words inexpensive and budget.
