I have a smaller set of 80 from 2 years ago and to this day, they still work. They're also quite decent despite being cheap knockoffs. I compared them with my copics and even when the quality difference is quite obvious, it doesn't stop it from being a good product. I'm planning to buy 168 set because even when they're cheap, they're pretty fun.

I get a small amount from a couple direct blood family and save what I don't absolutely have to spend on soap/shampoo, other hygiene, and vitamins. I don’t know why this happens because the caps are still on and everything but you should always store your markers sideways that way they last longer. This also might be the cause as to why that one marker isn’t working properly. Edit: these are dual tip markers I’m referring to that I own, Copic Sketch, both ends went dry when I stored them standing up right. Even the bottom went dry. So everyone saying “the tip just went dry cause the ink went to the bottom” please stop seriously 🤦🏻♀️ I’m not freaking stupid

If a marker doesn’t work my go to is to add some drops of rubbing alcohol into one of the ends and leave it sideways a bit and then try it again. I also always store the markers sideways as the ink will be more evenly distributed.

I can stop it from bleeding to other pages by sticking a page in between but my problem is that maybe the markers will dry out or it won't work properly if I use that paper? I have the same brand. Got a lot of duplicates, so not 168 unique colors. Did contact company and they refunded cost of markers within a few hours and didn't have to return markers. Would like another set to fill in colors missing.
Maybe is the paper I'm using (Canson for markers 180g) but I can't paint with these pens in larger drawings because I can' paint big areas without leaving marks, and also for me they are very hard to blend. This is my first time painting with markers. I bought the 36 colors pack from this brand , the colors selection are beautiful, but not to paint skin :( but it's a great start. I just need to figure if my problem is the paper or me :(

They are pretty expensive in the uk I’m not assuming she lives there but pounds are a bit more valuable than dollars which is why it’s expensive in the Uk I still bought them though lol

Is it good to get touch markers as a beginner? I'm not a beginner but I didn't use markers before just wooden colors... So What kind of markers should I use for the first time?
I think you should try buying these ones I bought them after getting really good with the wooden colors and it colors perfectly amazing. But if you are a beginner or like you don't know how to color with markers try buying a less amount one first not the 168 piece one.

Wow! On a scale of 1-10 how much better are the copics.. I have a 60 set of these markers but only 4 copics

if you add a few drops of rubbing alcohol to each end of the dry pen (remove nibs if possible), leave it overnight it should work again x

yes shrabonie you're right when u are use the wrong paper the markers will easily dry. so i suggest to use a marker paper.
u can also get a nice blend with marker paper
You should store your horizontally so your pens won't dry out on one side and the ink is evenly distributed.
