I just bought some of the same type of cheap pens. My skills are very basic (learner level) and nowhere near your ability but you have shown what you can create, even with these pens. Inspirational. Thank you
I love buying cheap art supplies, some of them are just as good as the more expensive brands!
I have a smaller set of 80 from 2 years ago and to this day, they still work. They're also quite decent despite being cheap knockoffs. I compared them with my copics and even when the quality difference is quite obvious, it doesn't stop it from being a good product. I'm planning to buy 168 set because even when they're cheap, they're pretty fun.
Wow! On a scale of 1-10 how much better are the copics.. I have a 60 set of these markers but only 4 copics
@@NJ_edits27 copics have really good quality markers and their inks are smooth and clean, but they're so expensive so I'd just give them an 8/10. I still enjoy the cheap markers, and I feel more comfortable using them than the copics (since it's so hard to waste such expensive ink lol)

I have the same markers and they work great! It doesn’t matter if they’re cheap ore expensive as long the artist uses them right just like you did

I have these and I freaking LOVE them! I wanted Copic markers, but my parents found someone that was kinda similar sooo... If you want copic markers, but don't have enough money, I recommend these 👍🏻😇😘

if you add a few drops of rubbing alcohol to each end of the dry pen (remove nibs if possible), leave it overnight it should work again x

Those are ACTUALLY some really great skin tone colors! I bought a huge caliart set and a 36 skin tone Arteza set a while ago and I just haven't used them. But I'm trying to get inspired.

Would you share which set of skin tone brand you like better? I'm trying to decide on my first set to buy and being disabled waiting for Disability Income, I don't get to buy random and buy again right away if I don't like it.
I get a small amount from a couple direct blood family and save what I don't absolutely have to spend on soap/shampoo, other hygiene, and vitamins. I put in for holiday gifts but I like so many art media it would be a bit before I had one set of each type I work with. Thanks for sharing your preference on skin tone markers ahead of time, much appreciated! 🤗❤️👍🏾💯

I've experimented with many markers including copics, but for some reason I've always liked the touch markers better for some reason. If your struggling to find markers for cheap THESS ARE THE ONES FOR YOU!!

Found out recently through my own mistake and other artists using markers like alcohol based ones and so on that if you store your markers standing upright they dry out very quick. I don’t know why this happens because the caps are still on and everything but you should always store your markers sideways that way they last longer.
This also might be the cause as to why that one marker isn’t working properly.
Edit: these are dual tip markers I’m referring to that I own, Copic Sketch, both ends went dry when I stored them standing up right. Even the bottom went dry. So everyone saying “the tip just went dry cause the ink went to the bottom” please stop seriously 🤦🏻♀️ I’m not freaking stupid

omg thenk you i had an issue with some drying out really fast but know i know why
If a marker doesn’t work my go to is to add some drops of rubbing alcohol into one of the ends and leave it sideways a bit and then try it again. I also always store the markers sideways as the ink will be more evenly distributed.
It’s because the ink flows to the bottom causing them to dry up😃

I have the same brand. Got a lot of duplicates, so not 168 unique colors. Did contact company and they refunded cost of markers within a few hours and didn't have to return markers. Would like another set to fill in colors missing.
