Those who are having problems with finding the 'mods' folder .
1. Get in the game and then click repository.
2. Go to mods manager , there you can see "OPEN MOD FOLDER" .
That opens the mods and repo folder.

Bro I clicked "open mod folder" and there's was only db.json folder and no repo folder

Hey Old Tender Man, Just another thing to add: when browsing for mods, never get ones with a rating less then 3 or 4 stars as they can be bad for your computer, this fact is proven because I downloaded a Dodge Ram TRX mod and I got a virus on the computer. Just another tip for real or fictional vehicle browsing.

Hey guys i have question, i chaged the location of my mods folder so like when you open the game you see (choose new location), i choosed the desktop and then i made a mods folder to put every mod in it. So ist ok to do that ?

make sure you are clicking the real download button and not an ad. PS I have never heard of this website so make sure its legit.

Somthing that really sucks about the beamng modding community is that. Some of these really cool real life cars only exist on sketchy websites that are a hit or miss, I just don't know why some people on the official beamng website for mods WONT MAKE A PORCHE 911.

You can just open your 2 files obe on your vehicles and one on your downloads and carry your downloaded vehicle to your vehicles file and reset your beamng server and reopen it
I try to install the mod then this screen pops up with a ton of robots asking if im not a robot which is obviously a computer virus so i dont really know what to do i am also following your directions very carefully.

for anyone having trouble with the repo mod folder try downloading a mod from the repository in the game first then the file should show up
You can't find real car mods on the repository (unless you're fine with a 126p mod that hasn't been updated since 2018). And using third party websites is a horrible idea, the forum has a decent amount of real life cars. How does this have over 150 thousand views?
Does anyone know where I can find a Beamng 1955 Jaguar D-Type, Mercedes 300 SLR and a Austin Healey 100S mod. All 3 of these cars are Le Mans cars from 1955.

Yep been my prob for 2 years now I'm just about done with beam as I can't play anything else than the base game, I've even tried making a mod folder like you would need to for minecraft or something but no nothing works

when I open my documents mine doesn't have anything but cache, levels, mods, game telemetries and settings. I cant find the .27 or anything like that. does it matter where I bought it? id imagine not but just wondering. I got mine from steam

Make sure to make into a zip file then unpack the mod and it should work that what i had to do im not smart w pcs so im happy i figured it out just in case others have same issue 💯🔥

also if it is .RAR dont click on the file then extract dlete the .RAR link thing if it dosent delete dont worry about it then make sure they in the repo folder close and reopen beanng then it should work tahts what i had to do

bro the site is literally unusable, there are 50 pop-ups on every single page and when you try to download cars it switches ur tab out for some scam bot tab asking you to click "allow" to make sure ur not a robot. couldnt download a mod to save my life.
