Everybody's prasing Caterina's performance, but I want to highlight KaDee's aswell. She is so vulnerable and empathic with Amelia. For me, she is one major highlight.
Just because addiction is an illness doesn't mean you aren't allowed to be appalled by the behavior. People who are saying addiction is just a disease have never been hit by, used by or hurt by an addict. Yes, it's a disease but there's a certain level of accountability for the things you do on and off of them. Amelia's behavior is appaling because she chooses to use and has caught a real and terrifying disease.
THANK YOU! I was an addict and it was MY. CHOICE to stop. It’s a choice, regardless if there is a disease. Use pot for crying out loud instead of pills and hard drugs or alcohol. Or get medication by a professional. Just because it’s an illness doesn’t mean there isn’t a way out.
No Amelia kept relapsing, so in short she choose to use instead of trying and get help in GA she found that no one is baby sitting her or talking her addiction the way PP did in Greys she got tough love plus Richard made her to visit meetings and she knew Mer has kids and she doesn't take nonsense.
@@maureenavilia208 she had been sober for a while and continued to stay sober thru out GA and that was her and her strength it had nothing to do with the people, by that point her sobriety was all her own. No one had to baby sit or tough love her. If people are going to blame her for her actions as an addict then she also deserves the credit for actions to stay sober Plus w/o Ryan showing up, the gentle love she was getting from them seemed to be working, I bet if he had stayed away she would have gone to rehab, not sure if it would have worked without the impact of Ryan’s death but 🤷🏻♀️ Either way, Sam can be angry at her actions, but he also needs to understand that it is a disease and he isn’t doing that at all, which is not very doctor-ly
He really was! He was so judgmental and condescending all the time 😭 him and Naomi deserved each other and I did feel like he hurt Amelia in the invention more than he helped
If you haven’t gone through this yourself, you have no idea. I’m still sadly on the same path she is trying to get clean. I would’ve done the same thing years ago.

I love Kadee throughout all of this. You can tell she is struggling through her own addiction.
Especially since Charlotte is also an addict so this must have been so hard for her.
Kate’s acting as well her love for Amelia really shined through this storyline
