Shouldn't be too crazy. You would have one regex for each stage that you would check separately. Having a single regex wouldn't make sense here. Although for some of those rules you would need some code, like the atomic numbers one.

That's exactly how coding interviews feel. You fail a few and you think you got it but every time you restart the game the rules/settings are different. It always comes to luck of matching your previous experiences with a particular interviewer.
