Zahid Ahmad as Sameera was good, but cannot be compared with these two characters. His scenes as sameera were not only few , they were confined to a room. He only had to give facial expressions, and the makeup did 50% of the job. Bhola and parizad, on the other hand had to use the entire body, the gait, to emote and had no make to help portray the character. Parizad is the most difficult character because it's that of a normal boy who has very low self esteem and is lonely. He has to depict a nature through his performance. Even a negative character gets help from the dialogues and actions to show that he is the bad guy. Parizad gets no help from special makeup, special dialogues or actions to show his personality. He has to do everything himself through his performance, which is the most difficult.
LSA nominations questions: 1- Why was ARY completely ignored? 2- Despite being a lame show, Sana from Ruswai was a way better performance than some of the nominees. Same goes for Neelum in Bikhray Moti and Ramsha in GPM. 3- Still related to ARY but Dushman e Jaan was literally Mohib's career best performance, did he not even deserve a nomination for this? Also Ali Abbas from GPM. 4- Nominating one actor for two roles doesn't make sense tbh bcz it divides their vote bank too. With that being said Yumna didn't deserve a nomination for ReU, PKS was enough. Could have nominated Ahad for YDM only as he was class apart in it. 5- Ahmed Ali Akbar deserved nomination for EeW. His scene where he meets Firdous sb and his son was enough to make him WIN this. 6- Imran Ashraf was literally at his worst in KDJ. If they wanted to nominate him, could have done it for Mushk instead. 7- Biggest shock for me was Kubra not getting nominated for Husn e Jahan. Her performance in 'tumharay liye mitti hui to mitti hui' scene>>>>>> many other nominees' whole performance in their respected dramas. 8- Manzar Sehbai deserved a nomination too. 9- Danish as director deserved a nomination for Kashf. 10- Nominating shows like Kaheen deep jaley, Raaz e ulfat in every category instead of Dushman e Jaan, GPM, Bikhray Moti etc is encouraging makers to keep making the sh!t dReAmY content like this.

I don’t think Parizaaad liked Babli or had a crush on her, but when she fixes his hair and teases him, it felt like Parizaad liked the affection she was showing him and as he barely has people around him that act similarly, it was a very sweet and cute moment to watch ✨

About Parizaad, It's about Parizaad journey, but most important are the lessons writer has given through it. Like, this track of bubbly nd Nasaaz in Parizad was about FRIENDSHIP bcuz it depicted all kind of friendships. Friendships of Parizaad with bubbly nd Nasaaz. And then Bubbly friendship with male friends and parents. It was all about to keep friendship as friendship and in limit. Bcuz Parents were too lenient to her, nd Then Parizaad tried to change friendship into relAtion. This is what made her to escape, bcuz she needed a friend not a partner for that time.
Another thing I like about parizad is that how beautifully Hashim Nadeem has given so many social messages through the dialogues without even trying too hard in only six episode while the dramas which are based on social issues like dunk, ruswai couldn't do it properly in their entire run. Kudos to him.
AKT: “ tab aap ke pas takat thi, aaj meray pas hae, chahon tu badla le lou, lekin mae aesa nahi karon gi”. This summarises the cause of all abuse against women, misuse of physical strength and mentality that he is superior to a woman. This drama has so many positives like highlighting the effects of an abusive father and a toxic family and harassment due to joint family system within the home as well as outside . It shows a strong, opinionated girl, empowering herself, supporting her dear ones financially and emotionally. A housewife understanding her worth and taking a stand. The high point is, two exceptionally understanding, supportive, broad minded men. “mae usay iss leye pasand karta hoan ke woh ghalat to ghat keti hae aur isi leye log usay ghat samajhtay haen”. After DNUTN, this drama makes me smile amidst all doom, giving hope. It’s a pleasure watching it.
Parizaad: The powerful storytelling was so impactful that when Nasaaz was about to get on the train my eyes welled up. I felt the pain of losing a sincere friend, one who was honest and giving, without any selfish motive. Each and every performance is so nuanced and portrayed with such creativity and intelligence that I felt the same pride that used to be evoked on watching PTV content. #hugeshoutouttoteamparizaad

Kubra did better job in Alif than Ayeza in Mehrposh. And what about Sonia for Saraab? And as much as we admire Imran Ashraf but for Kahin Deep Jalay seriously? The nomination is so off.. Also Yumna is considered for two dramas I fear that'll divide the vote and that won't be in her favor.. You really need to have a haute bite segment on this..

Pardes and Parizaad are some of the most underrated and amazing dramas to be ever made! Parizaad has a unique story and good morals to never judge a book by its cover. Pardes, on the other hand, has things full of reality and when watching this drama I think I am watching my entire life which is made into a drama!

Love the storytelling and direction of Parizad. I don’t know if you have watched ‘Main Abdul Qadir Hoon’ (another classic - please watch if you haven’t already) but that drama also had the same format showing different chapters/life stages of the main character. This format keeps you very engaged in the story. Also Ahmed Ali Akbar is highly underrated. He is a gem of an actor!
Parizaad drama - a breath of fresh air! Lovely to see someone's life journey. I think Parizaad liked Bubbly as a friend because they have plenty of friendly interaction, and her running away was a suprise for him. The Nasaaz track was beautiful as it showed the positive influence of a genuine friendship. Looking forward to his next journey.
Laapata: I did not understand why Falak was having dinner with Daniyal after calling him ugly and giving him a shut-up call and accepting him Majaz e Khuda all of sudden. The parents of Falak went to have a word with Sham's parents just to build the ground, like informing them about their intentions.
I think Falak was acting that way only because she was hoping for Shams to come back and she was not allowing herself to move forward. Once she accepted that it's been long enough and this is what her family also wanted, she accepted Daniyal.

Now, let's see how today's review is going to be after such an amazing Parizaad episode. I love the pacing of the drama so much, I understand how every character is meant to teach Parizaad something but I wasn't expecting the Bubbly track to end the way it did. AAA's open weeping after Nasaaz leaves, it was so in character. Not for a second did I think it's the actor, but I could actually feel Parizaad weeping for his friend, weeping for a girl he had grown to like, just weeping at the state of his life. It was such a vulnerable scene. AND OMG the scene between Saboor as Bubbly and him? They had amazing chemistry flowing. Such a good episode
In Parizaad, farewell scene of Nasaaz was the best. Ahmed Ali Akber's brilliant expressions💯👍. It's so amazing that every other episode there is an entry of new character.

Recently started watching Parizaad oh God! Such a masterpiece, unbelievable acting by Ahmed Ali Akbar, especially in last episode the way he shy in front of bubbly,his expressions,honesty on his face just melt us, he definitely raised bar for other actors such a realistic actor,👏👏👏 looking forward to see him more🙌
The most agreeable comments were regarding ISHQ HAI. The writer has actually dumped his own writing with his own hands. I wanted to like Shahzaib so much but now even if he redeems himself it would be of no use. I have stopped watching it now like Amna!

I don't think I've been so emotionally attached to the characters in a long time, but Parizaad had made me. The scene where Na Saaz leaves was so emotional that I actually wanted to cry, and then Parizaad's loneliness after he departs felt as though my own best friend was leaving the city. Too good. I really hope he comes back, I really loved his scenes and dialogues. A small but impactful character. Bubbly running away kind of shocked me too, but after seeing the OST I had expected that something would happen that would make them call off their wedding, though I couldn't tell what. Gotta see how this new character would cause an impact on Parizaad's life.

Ahmed Ali is stunning as Parizaad, that's all I can say. How amazingly endearing this character is without a hint of machismo. Even his ill-fitting puffed-sleeved old coat adds to his persona. Like Forrest Gump. Like Shutu from Death in a gunj. He is invisible to others around him but the viewers 'see' just him. Every one shines in their role and so does the story. To friendships like Nassaz and Parizaad- this sub-plot should get its own spin-off - an epic tale of friendship on how friendships should aspire to be.

We saw last time in Laapata that Falak is playing against Mahnoor Shahzad who recently represented Pakistan in the Tokyo Olympics. So I’m assuming Falak is shown to be an Olympic level athlete. So she would be well known and in the news.
I’m aware you both have problems with the so called doctors in our dramas. I think y’all must watch yakeen ka safar, I mean that drama definitely showed the best portrayal of doctors. You both won’t regret it!!

My seven year old watched Parizaad’s episode with me. After watching the train scene, he said, “Amma, I feel like crying deep in my heart. Parizad’s friend is going away and he doesn’t have a piano. He really wanted it”. Such a powerful episode 😍
Seriously I feel Aakhir kab tak is underrated and deserves more views and TRP's as the story progression is very nice and currently it is the second best drama on air after Parizaad.
Pardes, I feel aymns character..my father lived in KSA for like 8 months alone when I was 10-11. And even I would never want to let my husband live away from myself and my son for too long. We didn't have any evil saas or chachi but just the trauma of my father Living away suddenly was way too much for me. Wouldn't want my child to go through that everrr.
I LOVE WATCHING PAARIZAD!! I feel that the shopkeeper is shown to be maybe a Parsi, because his getup, appearance and stature represented the Parsi community. His dialect of English was very similar to how the Parsi community speaks. I used to study at a Parsi school and I have visited the Parsi community a few times as well. :)

Parizaad reminds me of Raj Kapoor’s “Mera Naam Joker.” How he comes across these three beautiful women but sadly he couldn’t find true love his whole life. I am not saying this drama is copy of that movie but premise is almost the same. I am loving how this drama is progressing. Fast pace and so beautifully written. Love it ❤️
I think Parizaad is in late 90s or early 2000s. And as Hassan mentioned multuple times that he saw mobile once, but that could be a mistake. We have not seen mobile phone used by any main character till now in the whole drama. So i think it was from the time when mobile phones were not there

My personal favourite was Osman in Ehd e Wafa but I think as compared to Ahad all the the other 3 actors were better and should have been nominated.

And then Bubbly friendship with male friends and parents. It was all about to keep friendship as friendship and in limit. Bcuz Parents were too lenient to her, nd Then Parizaad tried to change friendship into relAtion. This is what made her to escape, bcuz she needed a friend not a partner for that time.

This drama has so many positives like highlighting the effects of an abusive father and a toxic family and harassment due to joint family system within the home as well as outside . It shows a strong, opinionated girl, empowering herself, supporting her dear ones financially and emotionally. A housewife understanding her worth and taking a stand.
The high point is, two exceptionally understanding, supportive, broad minded men. “mae usay iss leye pasand karta hoan ke woh ghalat to ghat keti hae aur isi leye log usay ghat samajhtay haen”.
After DNUTN, this drama makes me smile amidst all doom, giving hope. It’s a pleasure watching it.
Parizaad: The powerful storytelling was so impactful that when Nasaaz was about to get on the train my eyes welled up. I felt the pain of losing a sincere friend, one who was honest and giving, without any selfish motive. Each and every performance is so nuanced and portrayed with such creativity and intelligence that I felt the same pride that used to be evoked on watching PTV content.

Kubra did better job in Alif than Ayeza in Mehrposh. And what about Sonia for Saraab? And as much as we admire Imran Ashraf but for Kahin Deep Jalay seriously? The nomination is so off.. Also Yumna is considered for two dramas I fear that'll divide the vote and that won't be in her favor.. You really need to have a haute bite segment on this..

Pardes, on the other hand, has things full of reality and when watching this drama I think I am watching my entire life which is made into a drama!

AKT -How fajar holds on to Saim sleeve from her finger was such an amazing scene which gave her confidence to tell about Bissam ,It shows how he is her safe place like her mother was it was such small detail yet so important.
Love the storytelling and direction of Parizad. I don’t know if you have watched ‘Main Abdul Qadir Hoon’ (another classic - please watch if you haven’t already) but that drama also had the same format showing different chapters/life stages of the main character. This format keeps you very engaged in the story. Also Ahmed Ali Akbar is highly underrated. He is a gem of an actor!

Parizaad drama - a breath of fresh air! Lovely to see someone's life journey. I think Parizaad liked Bubbly as a friend because they have plenty of friendly interaction, and her running away was a suprise for him. The Nasaaz track was beautiful as it showed the positive influence of a genuine friendship. Looking forward to his next journey.
Laapata: I did not understand why Falak was having dinner with Daniyal after calling him ugly and giving him a shut-up call and accepting him Majaz e Khuda all of sudden. The parents of Falak went to have a word with Sham's parents just to build the ground, like informing them about their intentions.
I think Falak was acting that way only because she was hoping for Shams to come back and she was not allowing herself to move forward. Once she accepted that it's been long enough and this is what her family also wanted, she accepted Daniyal.

Now, let's see how today's review is going to be after such an amazing Parizaad episode. I love the pacing of the drama so much, I understand how every character is meant to teach Parizaad something but I wasn't expecting the Bubbly track to end the way it did. AAA's open weeping after Nasaaz leaves, it was so in character. Not for a second did I think it's the actor, but I could actually feel Parizaad weeping for his friend, weeping for a girl he had grown to like, just weeping at the state of his life. It was such a vulnerable scene. AND OMG the scene between Saboor as Bubbly and him? They had amazing chemistry flowing. Such a good episode
In Parizaad, farewell scene of Nasaaz was the best. Ahmed Ali Akber's brilliant expressions💯👍. It's so amazing that every other episode there is an entry of new character.

Such a masterpiece, unbelievable acting by Ahmed Ali Akbar, especially in last episode the way he shy in front of bubbly,his expressions,honesty on his face just melt us, he definitely raised bar for other actors such a realistic actor,👏👏👏 looking forward to see him more🙌
The most agreeable comments were regarding ISHQ HAI. The writer has actually dumped his own writing with his own hands. I wanted to like Shahzaib so much but now even if he redeems himself it would be of no use. I have stopped watching it now like Amna!

Parizaad is a gem of a drama! I look forward to every episode. Ahmed Ali Akbar has nailed that performance! That scene in which he cries after Nasaaz leaves broke my heart. Also Aamna's nasha analogy was so funny! ahaha!
I don't think I've been so emotionally attached to the characters in a long time, but Parizaad had made me. The scene where Na Saaz leaves was so emotional that I actually wanted to cry, and then Parizaad's loneliness after he departs felt as though my own best friend was leaving the city. Too good. I really hope he comes back, I really loved his scenes and dialogues. A small but impactful character. Bubbly running away kind of shocked me too, but after seeing the OST I had expected that something would happen that would make them call off their wedding, though I couldn't tell what. Gotta see how this new character would cause an impact on Parizaad's life.

I am in love of the story of Parizad and Ahmed Ali's performance. His hunchback, posture, gestures, his ensemble, everything is spot on. What a performance!!! Incredible. He is shown to be an unattractive person yet he is so charming that every girl falls in love with him coming his way.

I have started watching Parizaad and HKKST because of you guys and I'm loving both of these dramas.Ahmed Ali Akbar is just fabulous.
Ahmed Ali is stunning as Parizaad, that's all I can say. How amazingly endearing this character is without a hint of machismo. Even his ill-fitting puffed-sleeved old coat adds to his persona. Like Forrest Gump. Like Shutu from Death in a gunj. He is invisible to others around him but the viewers 'see' just him. Every one shines in their role and so does the story. To friendships like Nassaz and Parizaad- this sub-plot should get its own spin-off - an epic tale of friendship on how friendships should aspire to be.

Seriously I feel Aakhir kab tak is underrated and deserves more views and TRP's as the story progression is very nice and currently it is the second best drama on air after Parizaad.
Pardes, I feel aymns character..my father lived in KSA for like 8 months alone when I was 10-11. And even I would never want to let my husband live away from myself and my son for too long. We didn't have any evil saas or chachi but just the trauma of my father Living away suddenly was way too much for me. Wouldn't want my child to go through that everrr.
I LOVE WATCHING PAARIZAD!! I feel that the shopkeeper is shown to be maybe a Parsi, because his getup, appearance and stature represented the Parsi community. His dialect of English was very similar to how the Parsi community speaks. I used to study at a Parsi school and I have visited the Parsi community a few times as well. :)

Parizaad reminds me of Raj Kapoor’s “Mera Naam Joker.” How he comes across these three beautiful women but sadly he couldn’t find true love his whole life. I am not saying this drama is copy of that movie but premise is almost the same. I am loving how this drama is progressing. Fast pace and so beautifully written. Love it ❤️

I think Parizaad is in late 90s or early 2000s. And as Hassan mentioned multuple times that he saw mobile once, but that could be a mistake. We have not seen mobile phone used by any main character till now in the whole drama. So i think it was from the time when mobile phones were not there
