I so agree! There are so many fashion/style videos that just waste our time, going on about a tiny blemish, their needing servicing, even expecting us to watch them boiling a kettle! But she never does this and is just the best stylist ever🙂
I like to dress well when traveling, too, no scruffy old sweats for me. Sneaker-level comfort in shoes is essential, though. I would love a video on comfortable, practical, but classy travel outfits, no one could do it better!
Being petite I have to watch the size of my bags, especially basket bags, otherwise they just overwhelm my body. I thrifted a gorgeous Mulberry black leather crossbody bag for $8 (Australian) recently. It is such high quality, buttery soft, in really excellent condition. Could not believe my luck. I am using it constantly, as it's our winter here. Best find ever!
Very nice comment on bag size! for me it is the opposite, I must be wary of cross body bags that are fashionably small because they make me look very big (i'm plus size with a big bossom)
Great suggestions, and some classic styles that you can find in a huge range of prices: expensive designer bags seem outrageously priced, particularly for raffia bags! My summer straw bag is a good old Gap one that is great for shopping or going to the beach. Travel bags: I have two, one is an expensive leather bag from Coach, but when I travel things tend to get 'injured,' so instead I prefer my highly functional, holds a ton, kinda cool rose-gold pink Amazon find for $30 CA, which comes with packing cases to organize your items, haha; good dupe and a great buy for my post-pandemic travel. Some lovely ideas and combinations. However, I have owned a bag (high-end, bought at a consignment store) with a chain strap interwoven with leather. It was so uncomfortable to wear! This was not a large bag that I tried to cram too much stuff into, thus adding weight. It was just plain uncomfortable, digging right into my shoulder, regardless if I wore it over one shoulder or as a cross-body bag. It was lovely, but I won't be burying any more chain-strap bags.

I love the black and brown outfit. I have a great new brown linen skirt, I’m going to wear it with a black top and my white blazer that has a brown and black print. (I like to have some white near my face when wearing black on top, I’m so pale).
I do too! Depending where I’m going I love them for the security. I’ve gotten my mom to use them also as she uses a walker so there is one less thing to for her to hold on to.

A woman has to consider scale with everything she wears along with practical needs of course. I am 5'3" and if I need to carry a large tote for things I need, I will of course. But beyond that kind of an exception, I wear medium sized bags as I am bsically a medicum sized woman. This was not considered here, and that first bag was clunky which is also a no no for women who are heavy set. This is why I don't like these kinds of generalizations without any mention of the exceptions. Still, a nice video.

Diane, try a clutch made of the same material. They have a straw clutch that I just ordered on Amazon. It was very reasonably priced.

I wear mostly dresses, on the shorter side, and find that many basket bags scratch my legs (or arms). But, they’re great looking.
I had the same problem but I used an emery board to smooth off the sharp edges. Not perfect but heaps better.
