It was famously dictated to him by Krishna Dvaipayana, who is best known as Vyasa. And today in countless parts of India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Indonesia, China, and Japan, his beautifully decorated temples, which are renowned for their architectural and artistic splendor, are some of the most important worship centers and pilgrimage destinations for Hindus, Jains, and even Buddhists
More than forty years ago, when I was in high school, I took it upon myself to independently study and learn as much as possible about Hinduism, its customs, traditions, belief systems, and in particular its seemingly endless pantheon of deities, whose equally innumerable avatar incarnations defy description. Thus, the story of Lord Ganesha and his creation has always stood out for me, given the fact that he was actually created from clay by his mother Parvarti.
Hands down, this is one of the finest videos ever produced regarding the creation of a strikingly beautiful Ganesha statue from clay by a master artist. And though it runs nearly an hour long, it's not time-lapsed. His unsurpassed skill and talent defy description. It's well worth watching from start to finish. Thank you, sir. 10/10
