Thanks rich I’m a athlete here in Tahoe I suffer from multiple concussions from snowboarding and skateboarding and as I age it’s been very difficult to deal with at times but I will never quit and I really enjoy your content it helps me much love bro
Rich, I can't thank you enough for all the wisdom you have shared through your podcast and now also these masterclass style videos. When I was at my lowest of lows you were there in my ear providing me with the conversations, knowledge, and wisdom I needed to hear. Thanks for being such an awesome mentor figure :) Sending love from Canada
Psilocybin saved my life. I was addicted to heroin for 15 years and after Psilocybin treatment I will be 3 years clean in September. I have zero cravings. This is something that truly needs to be more broadly used in addiction treatment.
A lot of people have testified about this and I really want to give it a shot. I put so much on my plate and it definitely affects my stress and anxiety levels
The Trips I've been having have really helped me a lot,I finally feel in control of my emotions and my future and things that used to be mundane to me now seem incredible and full of nuance on top of that I'm way less driven by my ego and I have alot more empathy as well
I keep remembering you telling the story about the guy who asked ‘what does your podcast do’! Well, I have a feeling that you are impacting people’s lives in more ways than you might be able to appreciate and with gems like this, you may well be saving lives too. Brilliant format. Thank you.
How wonderful how life works. You had to live through all you did to become who you are now , to meet all these beautiful souls and bring us to today. I want to thank you , thank you for sharing these beautiful souls with us to help us grow, To connect to ourselves. And maybe along the way help others. Pure gratitude 🙏🏼❤️
Great podcast! Imagine if everyone worked on educating themselves about mental health. If you saw your friend limping you wouldn't hesitate to ask what was wrong and how you could help......so when you see your friend struggling with mental health issues, react the same way....get rid of this ridiculous stigma associated with mental health. Knowledge is power so share this podcast and stop the nonsense! Thanks for educating us Rich......your podcasts are changing the world one viewer at a time! Thank you.
This is a light in the darkness. I'm (as I'm sure so many are) going through a terrible bout of darkness at the moment. Feeling very bleak. This came at a great time. Thank you.
Rich, thank you so much! You and Lewis Howes have changed my life in how I view everything! I have hurt people in ways that I'm unproud of. I'm an addict. I've just started my spiritual journey this year. You both have changed how I view life! Thank you thank you thank you.
Wow, Rich, what a collection of vulnerability and openness. As always you open the internal door and make it okay to own our dark side. I am truly grateful for your service.
Thanks for everything you do on this podcast i myself am a drug addict who is currently working on myself for the better. Thanks rich roll love all your videos and I just want you to know your content is so precious to everyone not just addicted humans
Oh my goodness thank you thank you @Rich Roll! I have no idea if you will read this but my older daughter has been prescribed two amphetamines for over a year for weight loss and ADD and is now having psychotic episodes, I have been at a loss for some perspective and how to deal with this and yes this is exactly what has happened to her her brain is injured she is not herself at all and just hearing that in your podcast today flipped everything for me in terms of how to go about helping her so thank you thank you this is your first podcast that I’ve ever listen to and I so appreciate you and that I found this!
This podcast goes into depth of a serious problem that is universal but that many ignore and decide not to speak about. Almost everyone has experienced this in their lives. This podcast has a pure focus on mental health, chronic stress, and depression. Got to say Rich Roll did an amazing job bringing doctors in and people who have gone through these problems, speaking up and sharing their experiences and how they overcame it. The delivery of this podcast was astonishing because bringing in the doctors to speak about it makes this episode top tier. The reason being is because we can see what doctors do to help patients overcome and ease their patients chronic stress, better their mental health, and depression. Technical production was on point, we could clearly hear and understand what was going on throughout the entire video.
Rich living life is more understanding and accepting through your platform.... your a blessing to openness and I hope to be on your miraculous platform someday.
Your episodes are serious and mentally heavy because of the severity of mental health issues you address, and the tangible solutions you discuss. I appreciate your work. It's a good first step towards getting help.
Geez, this deep dive could not be more timely. We just lost a good running friend to depression. Most of us never saw it coming. Thanks for the content.
Rich, I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would. I love your regular format for podcast episodes/ roll ons. But this was incredible, I could not stop listening. Thank you for compiling this from your amazing guests.
can't thank you enough , for all your work, your energy, your podcasts, your amazing guests!! All of which is fuel and amazing source of knowledge that guide me to also help and teach people who struggle , or just have difficulties in everyday life! if you ever visit Athens , it would be an honor , pleasure, dream to met you in person. happy holidays !!
I had to listen because I never looked at mental issues like an injury as one of your previous guests (Mary Cain) explained it. A dear friend who is no longer sharing this demension with us once told me " if we had friends or family we could talk with no one would need a therapist". If we could turn back time or if we could let go of our phones and have "circle time", camp fires, togetherness instead of separated-ness many of us would be less weighted. How heavy is the weight we carry on our shoulders? Think about the Indians as well as other cultures they sang or would humm ( helps the nasal passages) while dancing together (like the best exercise: rebounding) around the fire. I think I'll build a fire pit and bring back a honored tradition. ☮❤⚖🇺🇸🌎😉
Thank You, For all your incredible guests along with you're Passion to, serve & share life lessons, With all your incredible guest and/professionals in these growing. M.H.times. Heartfelt Thank You ,as I am On the begeing Journey, with cognitive decline.. That I hope to turn around , with this hopeful information. Heartfelt , THANK YOU , for this golden information! Was it Thoughts, feeling, action!
4:25 Who wants change? Only those who are at the end of a long, I have tried everything to fix my mental health path, suffering has become way too much and I will try anything.
More of this please! What a beautiful and meaningful show! I know this will help many people Rich Roll. You are really an Amazing human. So much of this program connected with me. I suffered from PTSD and suicidal ideation for as long as I can remember. In 2014 I was planning my death , but one night I decided I did not want to leave that kind of legacy for my children. That was the moment I decided to live to live and maximize my human experience. Now, I have my own yoga for wellness business, and I get to guide others on their healing journey with a new positive healthy connection to their mind, body and authentic self. #maximizingmyhumanexperience #livetolive #yogaheals #mewellnesscenter
Wow, this is one of the most insightful and useful and emphatic videos on youtube i've watched in my life yet. Rich Roll, thank you for making it, truly
I think what's seems interesting, as I've listened to all these, is we as a society and to ourselves included have been woren down and beaten up in relationships, work, pressure, anxiety etc.. that we have doctors that have to step in and make it a disease\disorder that we should take care of ourselves and each other. Smaller amounts of some of these are ok and keep us moving\motivated but when it gets to be to much it to much.
Thank you so much for this!! I absolutely loved all the episodes I listened from your podcast, but this one has been truly amazing! I took so many good things out of it! Sending you love from Romania, Eastern Europe 🤗
Mental Health is In my opinion just as important as physical Health and Dental Health all three are important to live a life of Optimal Quality to living Life towards success, happiness and prosperity. I have been on this journey since 2000 with experiences that have made me truly look inside myself to find the truths. I believe that without the mind at its optimal performance the experience is mental. Be the change the world needs to see❤
Can someone please discuss the effects of trauma that occurred in the formative first 7 years on mental health? Raped from 5 to 7 years and living in a thoroughly abusive home with no safe place to tell or deal, so personality dissociation has been an issue since. I've spent the majority of the past 25 years working on it all, but I swear it feels it will never end, and I'd love to not have quiet depression that would drop me in a second, that no one knows about, while really loving the life I have.
Thank you for this! I'm grateful and appreciate you and your guests for your integrity and compassion and willingness to tell these truths, experiences and guidance.
Starting ketamine at home treatments and after that I will be onto some spores. Dealt with pretty bad depression and anxiety for over 26 years. Turning 39 and although my "best days" are behind me (and I've never really been able to consistently use my fluid intelligence towards anything very meaningful...am at a boring job that is underwhelming after years of getting fired and job hopping)...fu*k it. Trying new shit. Not expecting miracles but it's something
once again you've done a wonderful job of so many different ways we struggle... thank you for giving us hope and also for verifying what some of us have been through ... Namaste.
7:25 What if, there were no dislikes towards anyone, anything or any situation. It doesnt mean you are going to like them. It it means you accept, observe with an open mind, let the moment go where it wants to go, no thoughts, no thinking, no feelings, no emotions, once it's over, you can let it go like it never happened. We would learn so much more in life, because we're takng our kowledge base into unknowns.
Rich, love these compilation episodes and would love to see a guidebook or step-by-step tangible outline in text format that would be more easily actioned. I feel that I listen to these beautiful videos but it's hard to remember all that they said and to take action.
Ah, the good old days when you used to be able to see a doctor in the UK.......If you're really lucky now, you can get a telephone consultation with a Nurse Practitioner. I think all our GPs have left the NHS post Covid. Pretty sure mine retired......
Pray 4 ppl like that in my life....my whole family dead...covid...75 yr old woman,homeless..lost everything I owned. I really want to end this miserable existence....I have no friends...my church kicked me out....I can't eat...I have no home...no nothing😢
I can get myself out of depression or at least lessen it to a tolerable level but the actions I need to take seem to negatively affect my partner so I stop doing them to keep the peace but the depression comes back which also negatively affects my partner!! Therefore there is NO solution to my problem.
Yes there is a solution if your partner isn’t happy when your happy perhaps it’s time to consider that relationship is part of your depression. I hope you find the strength to put your mental health first.

Shrooms was the best trip I had. It was an amazing experience.
Tripping is not really bad but find a good mycologist Who will teach you the right things you need to know

Thanks, Rich for doing this. I have battled depression on and off since I was 15. I am not ashamed of it and I love that this dialog is happening.

Well , after listening to this episode , my first , I’ve decided to take control . Again . … I’ll take the action today .
The world is anxious and depressed. It’s the real pandemic
that's the truth 😭🥺😢
Sadly it’s the truth..😞
I resonate with this.

Sara Lee's piece was the most impactful and relatable for me. She's an inspiration, and somebody I aspire to be.

Hey Rich, guess what? You're an awesome person and I sincerely appreciate all that you are, all that you do.
Bless you and all of your guests that contributed to this.
It's not the fear of change that keeps me away from going To thérapie but the prices.

I love these compilation episodes. The full episodes are great too of course, but these single topic comps are incomparable.

Truly inspiring. Thank you for your work. I was thinking how it might be cool to do a walking interview. Like a rich roll stroll!
Great idea!

This is going to be gold! Thank you for this.
Every health professional that claims to care about people should be pushing hard for Medicare for All, so people can actually get treatment.
So beautiful and deeply helpful. Thank you 🙏🏼 ❤
Awesome format idea! Merci! - Olivier, London, UK
Thank you all for this Great and useful information ✝️💗

The 5th story about the 50 year old man is my story. Although I'm not a CFO but feel exactly the same.
Great talks.

Great episode. Loving the montage on a theme episodes. Keep it up!
amazing Steven Pressfield!!!
great content Rich and team!
Alexi Pappas needs to read the book Cracked by James Davies. She needs to have a more balanced view on psychiatry I think
Awesome set of videos ..... your goatee is perfect too!
Was curious to hear Guru Singh in particular, but it was mostly you talking.
Thanks for this Rich 🙏
It’s bike for me as well, thank you so much 4 shearing

Therefore there is NO solution to my problem.
sounds like your problem is your partner to me
you are more important than your partner. be good to you, not them. if theyre not supporting you why are they with you?
Yes there is a solution if your partner isn’t happy when your happy perhaps it’s time to consider that relationship is part of your depression. I hope you find the strength to put your mental health first.
Great podcast!
Thanks .. great show x
Thank you Rich!
Thank you!
I loved the Micro biome episode. I’m excited for this episode.
No downside to going to therapy? Why do you think it takes someone years to decide to go? There are downsides.
Rich, you inspire me. Thx
*Love* > fear
Phenomenal message
Thank you for this 💙
BIG thank you 💖🌸🙏🌟
