I keep remembering you telling the story about the guy who asked ‘what does your podcast do’! Well, I have a feeling that you are impacting people’s lives in more ways than you might be able to appreciate and with gems like this, you may well be saving lives too. Brilliant format. Thank you.

Oh my goodness thank you thank you @Rich Roll! I have no idea if you will read this but my older daughter has been prescribed two amphetamines for over a year for weight loss and ADD and is now having psychotic episodes, I have been at a loss for some perspective and how to deal with this and yes this is exactly what has happened to her her brain is injured she is not herself at all and just hearing that in your podcast today flipped everything for me in terms of how to go about helping her so thank you thank you this is your first podcast that I’ve ever listen to and I so appreciate you and that I found this!

    Great podcast!
Imagine if everyone worked on educating themselves about mental health. If you saw your friend limping you wouldn't hesitate to ask what was wrong and how you could help......so when you see your friend struggling with mental health issues, react the same way....get rid of this ridiculous stigma associated with mental health. Knowledge is power so share this podcast and stop the nonsense! Thanks for educating us Rich......your podcasts are changing the world one viewer at a time! Thank you.

This podcast goes into depth of a serious problem that is universal but that many ignore and decide not to speak about. Almost everyone has experienced this in their lives. This podcast has a pure focus on mental health, chronic stress, and depression. Got to say Rich Roll did an amazing job bringing doctors in and people who have gone through these problems, speaking up and sharing their experiences and how they overcame it. The delivery of this podcast was astonishing because bringing in the doctors to speak about it makes this episode top tier. The reason being is because we can see what doctors do to help patients overcome and ease their patients chronic stress, better their mental health, and depression. Technical production was on point, we could clearly hear and understand what was going on throughout the entire video.

More of this please! What a beautiful and meaningful show! I know this will help many people Rich Roll. You are really an Amazing human. So much of this program connected with me. I suffered from PTSD and suicidal ideation for as long as I can remember. In 2014 I was planning my death , but one night I decided I did not want to leave that kind of legacy for my children. That was the moment I decided to live to live and maximize my human experience. Now, I have my own yoga for wellness business, and I get to guide others on their healing journey with a new positive healthy connection to their mind, body and authentic self. #maximizingmyhumanexperience #livetolive #yogaheals #mewellnesscenter

I had to listen because I never looked at mental issues like an injury as one of your previous guests (Mary Cain) explained it. A dear friend who is no longer sharing this demension with us once told me " if we had friends or family we could talk with no one would need a therapist". If we could turn back time or if we could let go of our phones and have "circle time", camp fires, togetherness instead of separated-ness many of us would be less weighted. How heavy is the weight we carry on our shoulders? Think about the Indians as well as other cultures they sang or would humm ( helps the nasal passages) while dancing together (like the best exercise: rebounding) around the fire. I think I'll build a fire pit and bring back a honored tradition. ☮❤⚖🇺🇸🌎😉

I think what's seems interesting, as I've listened to all these, is we as a society and to ourselves included have been woren down and beaten up in relationships, work, pressure, anxiety etc.. that we have doctors that have to step in and make it a disease\disorder that we should take care of ourselves and each other. Smaller amounts of some of these are ok and keep us moving\motivated but when it gets to be to much it to much.

Mental Health is In my opinion just as important as physical Health and Dental Health all three are important to live a life of Optimal Quality to living Life towards success, happiness and prosperity. I have been on this journey since 2000 with experiences that have made me truly look inside myself to find the truths. I believe that without the mind at its optimal performance the experience is mental. Be the change the world needs to see❤

Starting ketamine at home treatments and after that I will be onto some spores. Dealt with pretty bad depression and anxiety for over 26 years. Turning 39 and although my "best days" are behind me (and I've never really been able to consistently use my fluid intelligence towards anything very meaningful...am at a boring job that is underwhelming after years of getting fired and job hopping)...fu*k it. Trying new shit. Not expecting miracles but it's something

Can someone please discuss the effects of trauma that occurred in the formative first 7 years on mental health?
Raped from 5 to 7 years and living in a thoroughly abusive home with no safe place to tell or deal, so personality dissociation has been an issue since. I've spent the majority of the past 25 years working on it all, but I swear it feels it will never end, and I'd love to not have quiet depression that would drop me in a second, that no one knows about, while really loving the life I have.

7:25 What if, there were no dislikes towards anyone, anything or any situation. It doesnt mean you are going to like them. It it means you accept, observe with an open mind, let the moment go where it wants to go, no thoughts, no thinking, no feelings, no emotions, once it's over, you can let it go like it never happened. We would learn so much more in life, because we're takng our kowledge base into unknowns.
