I'm finally caught up on all of your HoT videos. I've been binging them like crazy since last week when I bought the game. Thanks for all the tips and entertainment! 100k will be here in no time! 💚
The frost effect is the key to what makes Frost Avalanche godly. Its direct damage is quite poor particularly when compared to other abilities and it can actually be counterproductive to increase its damage since you do NOT want the attack that is initially applying frost to kill the enemy since it will not produce a frost wave if that happens. The way you want to use Frost Avalanche is to get as much coverage, speed and frost proc chance on it as possible. A ring of Frost is highly recommended as is using the Huntress or at least her mark. You want it to apply frost to pretty much every monster you face as quickly as possible. Then you want to have one or two other VERY high damage skills to trigger the frost wave cascade since the size of a frost wave is directly determined by the highest amount of damage the creature has taken from a single attack and the damage of the frost wave is directly related to how many stacks of frost are on the creature. This is why you want to run Frost Avalance on a high-damage character like the Huntress and run another high-damage/crit ability like Lightning Bolt. If you have it set up properly the resulting cascade of frost waves you set off with these high-damage finishers should wipe out huge swaths of enemies or even the whole screen. If a finisher hits for 2k the resulting frost wave will have a radius of over 4 meters. When you get a cascade going each creature will get hit by many overlapping frost waves which then kill that creature propagating the wave of exploding creatures forward like a sea of dominoes getting knocked down.
We should be getting more exp boosts as achievements for the Norseman and future stuff gets added. It would be cool if they let us take back a green piece of equipment if we're able to beat a boss at Agony 6 or something so we'd still have to earn it and not just grind them out too easily. They could also change Jade Amulet to give luck which would affect crit and gold drops or something. Flame Strike is the most unfun of the skills still... *but* playing with it on Archer and turning her into a sniper does allow it to charge up and turn into a nuke. I saw a 56k crit while doing a run earlier and needless to say, the boss died instantly. That wasn't even optimizing it completely.
I ended up trying the build with the same character on the same map. I grabbed aura and punitive light upgrade, and i had 3 green items that were really good. The hunter's garb, crit chance ring, and wind crown. EVEN with all of the upgrades and me having a 3rd weapon, i only ended up killing about 4k more things than you and ended up at level 87. I memory potioned all of the weapon profs, making sure to double the multihit one on tier 3 and doubling the tier 4 ones. Also you want the range upgrade to counteract your decreased range from your weapon prof upgrades. I'm not sure what map is the best for level ups anymore, especially one or two weapon runs.
the big explosions at 23:45 is because the boss had 20 stacks of frost which makes the next stacks explode instantly and the size and damage of the explosions are because they scale with the biggest damage done on the enemy The rats don't do much on your build because you already have a full circle area transfixion with over 100% effect chance to apply the 2 debuffs you need I also noticed you wasted 2 potions of memory because you were distracted talking about something else lol
Danke i.V.
The trick to the Avalanche is getting as much coverage and frost chance as possible and then using an extremely high-damage attack to set them all off. The Huntress with a crit build is absolutely lethal with a maxed-out Avalanche.
has 100%, 50% or 20% chance to block depending on the amount of damage you take. Amount goes higher the more block strength you have, the 100 50 and 20 multipliers stay the same With over 150 block strength you can pretty much 100% block every type of attack from every monstrer and you will still 50% block on elites and final boss
The most annoying thing about his videos is that right before he picks the upgrade the video cuts away. Like, I want to learn about how to play the game better by watching him and its not helping

Loved the random ‘Bam, Rueckhandschelle’ 😂
Hit the goal of 10 Thousand subscribers? So you're planning on losing 80k this year? ;)
Hahahahaha xD THATS THE REAL GOAL xD
We can help you make the achievement of 'lose all subs' 😂
@@DexTag In that case your really slacking off.

I still dont understand what "Force" does. like wtf does 25% force do to Avalance? actually annoying
yeah its my single most hated stat in the game now. its so vague and ambiguous.
I didn't realize they added the ability to cancel picking up a ticket and get exp. That's awesome
can do this with items as well!
@@Xarith93 that was added to the beta before the ability to cancel a ticket. Thanks though :)
It was very recent. This week.
When you were counting the waves and said "9" I chuckled haha
For people wondering what "Rückhandschelle" means it means "Backhand Slap". Youre welcome. :D
And sadly when the release version came out, a lot of things have been changed. For example, Hunting Gloves and how Avalanche waves work.

Do we know when the beta is gonna be final
I hope you make a video on the Spirit Warrior soon. I'm having such trouble making him effective.
Every time I hear it I laugh harder… I’m stuck I’m stuck, Stepbro! Lol

Great video like always :)
how do u have agony mode and frost avalanche
Well I am guessing moda but I don't even have a modding page on steam. Unless u get them somewhere else
18 Frost shots is the highest I've been able to get with the avalanche skill. It's nuts.

what does block strenght do?
has 100%, 50% or 20% chance to block depending on the amount of damage you take. Amount goes higher the more block strength you have, the 100 50 and 20 multipliers stay the same

You were actually decreasing range and area by 10% when you chose the multihit upgrade
bam rückhandschelle 😂
