This video really makes me realize how Betty and Archie's story is the only one that the writers have done properly, without rushing and making sense throughout the 5 seasons. The 2 really fit well together!
I feel like they only brought Barchie up when they needed drama. Plus whenever they had a romantic moment, it felt so rushed, because they literally had no scenes the entire episodes before.
I agree, they were always happy with eachother, never had any drama with eachother, and even as friends they deeply cared for eachother. Bughead and Varchie were toxic, Barchie would go well together. Id love to see that happen this season.

He was so jealous of Betty's relationship with jughead and felt like he had to be honest about what he felt, but Betty didn't want to complicate things since they were both in a good place at that moment.
It's clear to me that Archie always runs away from Betty when things get serious, he knows the amount of love and pain he would go through if he allows himself to love Betty. I guess it scares him losing her forever.

I'm honestly glad they waited and did the time jump. I feel like Barchie back then wouldn't have been quite right. Them being older really makes the whole picture of them getting married one day so much more vital. If they had pulled it off back then it wouldn't have the seriousness this special bond deserved. It would be just another teenage love. This whole video is so perfectly edited.

This edit is perfect. I especially love the parallel where Archie and Betty both say, "this is nice". I want wedding bells for Barchie. I would love to see their babies too. Lol.
Barchie are so beautiful. This video is BEAUTIFUL. I'm probably repeating a lot of what has already been said, but this is one of the best Barchie vids I've ever watched. I loved the way it built and the pace of the clips with the music was so on point. The voiceovers were also perfect. "I have never felt whatever it is I'm supposed to feel with Betty." -- when Archie said this at the beginning of the show, I knew that we were always moving toward the moment when Archie's feelings shifted. When he realized that he could feel all those things for Betty too, and maybe a little part of him always had, but was too afraid to admit it to himself. Now they are finally getting their time together. The way they just jumped each other at the first possible chance shows just how desperate they were and how they've "carried the torch" for each other all these years. Thank-you for doing justice to Barchie's epic story, and somehow fitting so much in the span of 3 minutes and 50 seconds (you're so TALENTED!!!)

I have watched this every day since I found it and the artistry still gives me chills. The coloring. The musicality. The way you mirror the visuals and the story you weave with the clips you chose. The layering of the different audio cuts. The climax!!! All those cuts on the beat. I just- I’m SO- MY EMOTIONS. I don’t even ship them like that. Archie chose the safe path, but you will understand that it is not the same as high school. The fact that they have returned so soon means that they will not last. Barchie is the endgame, but at a point where they don't know what is real or not. Because they wanted a connection, that's what they got. But deep down, they love more than themselves. But they are separated by their memories, their past and that is why they do not look up to be together. But, when they understand that for each other is true happiness, it will be forever. They are simply inseparable. Even Veronica can't change that, because Barchie is real and powerful.❤❤🌈

All the parallels, how you used the voiceovers, the effects, how you tell their story and show the different aspects of their relationship, the perspectives of others on them (Veronica, Betty`s mother) and then the sequence with the quick cuts where you get the feeling you dive into their story, just wow! I`m not really attached to Riverdale but totally to this video. Thanks for your amazing work!
