@@Rainime ok maybe I should rephrase that. I hardly ever sweat, I can work out without sweating much, if at all, and unless it's REALLY humid and hot I can go by without sweating as well. My body is usually at a very low temperature so guess that's why.
Yeah, my husband’s BO isn’t like “B.OOOO” he sort of smells like old fruit… 😅 but it’s noticeable enough probably just to me. People do stink in japan, but Febreeze makes a killing and that’s basically all you’ll ever smell, anywhere with a crowd.
Great advice. Especially the extension cord. I always bring two because outlets in Japan are very inconveniently placed in the rooms. If you have an older (especially android phone) make sure that it is compatible with the SIM card you've selected. Some things I also like to bring (suggested by an article I read years ago) is a duvet cover, pillow cases and fairy lights from home that make my bedroom area feel familiar and homey! That can be very comforting. It also saves me $$ buying new things in Japan. Those items are also is quite flat and light in a suitcase. I also like to bring a small starter stash of things that I don't immediately wish to hunt down on arrival. Especially stuff related to hobbies and personal habits. I like to journal and paste tickets into my journals, so I found a glue pen, a small steel stapler I've had since forever, double-sided tape, scissors, a few pens & markers--whatever may be immediately useful. Of course, the stationery options you can find in Japan are amazing, but since I have a stash I can be selective about which stuff I really want.
man, two things that I can blame on foods; 1. not smelling the sweat, Japan seem to avoid lot of food that make them stink like tomato, aspartame, etc. Eat right really make you smell right! 2. Getting so many cavities more than ever might be appropriate blame on corn in everything (candies, pastries n etc) rather than lack of floride. 90% of japanese soda and candies I found have corn for sweet and thickness..... (can't be help, they easily have the most preference texture puff ever). kit Kat aren't so innocent either! British outlawed this is why you had no cavities before moving to Japan.
handy hint for shoes in Japan: I find that if you go to a more western store for example Asics you can often get sizes up to 11 which is really good when you have bigger feet :)

Homestay ホームステイ is the word you want haha I brought Caramello Koalas as my Australian おみやげ they were very popular! Regarding the power stuff (we call it a powerboard in Aus, I think US call them a power strip) - the only issue is when you're from a place with 220/240v some items won't work as well (worst offender is hair-dryers! best to just buy one in Japan because it will be lacklustre otherwise). But chargers will have an adapter within them to switch between voltages.
Hi Mikan! Regarding your recent cavities and all, it could be one of the unfortunate side effects of your ADHD meds! I take Vyvanse for my ADHD and my psychiatrist actually warned me that stimulants can make you get more cavities (which works great when executive dysfunction makes you unable to brush your teeth most days). So it could be the weird fluoride thing or your meds or a combination of both! Hope this helps solve your cavity mystery

YOO! :0 So I've been getting into spirituality and the law of attraction or assumption and have been trying to manifest moving to Japan. I know it sounds crazy like some withcraft shit but I partially grew up there (I say partially because I'm still kinda in the process of growing up, despite being considering old. I mean I'm still a teenager) and every now and then, I get very very homesick. I almost lost hope in my manifestation and had this whole nervous breakdown because my attention span is the absolute worse and I can't pay attention while meditating and always have the worst obsessive thoughts which make me lose hope but my hopeless self decided it would be a good idea to get out of bed and open my pc and I subconsciously loaded youtube to find this in my recommended. I have watched Mikan before but it's been a while since I've watched her. My last video must've been the soda one if I recall correctly. I know it sounds rly dumb but it just gave me a shit ton of motivation ^_^. And it's okay if you're not spiritual like that, I just thought I'd put it out there :P.
definitely recommend leaning into assumption more, i find attraction is too "oh well it wasnt meant to be" which you don't really want when manifesting something you want. assumption also leaves every answer to yourself. "what would i have to believe is true to be having this experience" is a really good one. also quick tip, start speaking in past tense with those negative habits you have; "because my attention span is the absolute worse and I can't pay attention while meditating and always have the worst obsessive thoughts" this thought needs to be changed, you're only solidifying those things into your reality. i find speaking in past tense is the easiest way to start. also don't listen to the people that overcomplicate loa, truely the only thing you need is to truely believe your desire is already yours/is already a plan/is happening, that's literally it.
