A scarf that gets pearls for you???? What magic is this!
Haha it's a really handy scarf for sure! Sometimes if I run up to a dead fish in the water, my Otter will loot it while I'm wearing it. My cat will sometimes be a scarf and she gives a great warmth buff, but she couldn't catch a fish if her life depended on it. She would definitely get eaten by a salmon, which is why she's never allowed outside :P
Mine too. He used to be outside but we can’t put him outside anymore. He used to be able to catch fish, but the only thing he can catch now is more weight...
LOL that's awesome! I love our cat, but she's not very coordinated or bright. When we found her she was in a restaurant parking lot trying to catch bugs to eat, and she couldn't catch even catch those. So I caught her using french fries as bait, and she's been a really great cat ever since. But we will NEVER let her outside lol.
My Otter killed tons and tons of fish and I got one single silica pearl... There is some kind of cave somewhere around the green obelisk. There are only peaceful fish in there, even though it is possible for the occasional Troodon, Raptor or even the occasional Therizino to wander in there. My poor Otter sadly got lost, when I was attacked by a cat in the redwoods and died to the pack of Troodons. Then I somehow forgot I had still had my Otter with me and he stayed there. Then later our Quetzal got lost in the same area and she was killed by Hyaenodons... RIP little one.
I Went to tame an otter and ended up with an allosaurus 😵
NIICE!!! That's a great tame, and NOT an easy one to get! Half my expeditions to tame a dinosaur on Ark turn into taming another dinosaur. Even the Brontosaurus on Episode 75 turned into a double-tame with an Oviraptor. Great job getting that Allosaurus!
Thanks I was on my way to the river via the coast on my 🐦, stopped to rest on a rock and she came running up to eat some chicken so I shot her and she changed her mind and ran away so I chased her and fed her a brontosaurus 😁
LOL No wonder she is your friend now. That's quite a feast! lol I'm rushing to get a refrigerator on my raft base because it automatically kills all the dinosaurs I sail past on the coast, which gives me piles of free meat lol.

I'm gonna see if this will work on xbox this will kinda help me in taming a tusotuethis lol. Guys i have a story that happened to me one time. So i was getting my otter to kill fish and right after a few fishes later my otter wasn't coming towards me when it killed a fish, it was going towards a person that was never in my lobby but the person was never there. I searched everywhere around me and at my base but no body. This is true by the way thats what happened to me and it weirded me out

Great Question! Mine are laying eggs every now and then and they are not on wander at the moment. I've heard a lot of debate as to whether it helps to have them on wander, but I can say for sure having a male nearby with the mate-boost and having an Oviraptor on wander nearby with the egg boost will both really increase your eggs.
go to Rag, and kill Eurypterid at viking bay 2, by the sunken ship. get 100 black pearls easy

LOL Yeah, I explained early on the Switch survival guide series that Ark Switch doesn't have sharp enough graphics to record TH-cam videos. I occasionally get complaints about how it's not on Switch, but I would get hundreds of people complaining about the low resolution on my videos if I recorded on Switch ;) This way you can learn everything as it is on Switch without having to look at it lol.
Can you knock out piranhas and then have the otter kill them?

Oh yeah, Otters in Ark are amazing for so many reasons :) They're also great to keep you totally warm or cool. But MAN they are SOOO much easier to tame if you have a seagull (which is also hard to tame lol). Let me know how it goes taming your Otter :)

If it helps you in the future, fish with a pack of 4-5 otters. It works on X-Box. I was lucky to train a male and female otter. Now I take the family out for a walk/swim.
