The BigDog/Hustler mowers are mainly American units with exception of the Kawasaki engine. They are a Frankenstein monster of SI versus American units.

Great video. I have the same Hustler and overall pleased with it. However, I've had a terrible time with the transmission mounting brackets and hardware. The bolts have either sheared off or come loose or the brackets have broken. Have you had any of these problems?
Hustler would cover the replacement under warranty, but would force me to go to a dealer. As a pretty good DIY, I found this very frustrating. Any thoughts?

@GilbertGardens they are almost impossible to get to. it took a good 30 minutes getting them out. Maybe there is a technique I'm not aware of.
