Beautiful place! Thanks Siddharth for the information. We really enjoyed this place with my family. The place has friendly waters - safe for kids to play and not much of flow. My 6 year and 3 year kids played a lot here. We carried food and water. Of course with Adult supervision all the time. Even on saturday, a total of maybe 30 people would have come there in the entire day. I went with my family on 23-Jan-2021 from Bangalore. We went by Chandapura -> Anekal -> Thally road, and came back by Kanakpura Nice Road. We went there on my Volkswagen Vento Sedan (Automatic) Car with a ground clearance of just 163mm, and R15 tyres. Of the last 16kms to the location, only 7-8 kms are off-road. And within that part also, only few small stretches are challenging. There are some 3-4 tall humps on the off-road and you need to avoid them, otherwise it will scratch your car's bottom. Initially I thought I need to hire a SUV. But really speaking, if you drive carefully, just ensure it hasn't rained in the last 1-2 days, and almost any decent vehicle can go - just that it shouldn't be fully loaded, if your ground clearance is low.
Thank you ❤️ I am so glad that your family enjoyed the place. Please do watch other videos during your leisure time and keep supporting my channel! Stay safe and stay happy 👍
Nice video...surely we should collect our garbage with us and discard in correct trash. pls name your cooking stove ....i found its useful during picnic...and where i can get it?
Hi Rashmi, thank you for watching and liking this video! Glad you are also an eco-sensitive explorer! I have added the product links in the video description. You may find it there. Please watch other videos during your leisure time and follow this space for more travel videos! Regards!
I would suggest not to go! It will be quite a tough terrain to drive unless you have a 4x4! If you are looking for a picnic place by the river then consider Arkavathy backwater,. Check that video on my channel. That is much easier under current conditions..
That is true! It is painful to see litters everywhere, be it jungle, river or mountain! May be government can employ and train youths from local community as "Green Volunteers" and give them authority to book offenders at places like this! This will generate some employment and help to keep these places clean. Specific to this place , in my opinion bags and cars should be checked at the entry post. Liquor and beer bottles are contributing to most of the trash :-(
