This is a very very different video to what I usually do!!! showing you all what's inside my clinical work bag as a Foot Health Practitioner. (I'm not a podiatrist / chiropodist or nail technician). Some of you don't know that I work in the foot health care sector and I am self employed carrying out domiciliary (home health) visits to my clients where I provide treatments, such as ingrown toe nail removal, hard foot callus removal, fungal nail treatments, corn removals to name a few. This is the first type of video I've done like this on my channel so please 'like' this video if you enjoyed it and want to see more.

Great video Jess, thank you for sharing. I am about to enroll on a FHP course so this has been a great help. I know I will learn more on my training but could you tell me what autoclave and sterilising bags you use? Maybe a subject for another video 😉. Thanks again x
Thank you and yes of course. I can do a video including my stock aswell if you like as I didn't mention everything in this video. The autoclave I use is MDS medical. The autoclave bags I bought from C and P medical, you can buy from many suppliers out there 😀 . Best of luck with your FHP course ❤ will you be self employed or will you work for someone? x

Hi Sharon, in the clear dropper bottle us a skin and nail softener called laufwunder. It's a staple of mine and many FHPs.

Hi Jess! Your video is inspiring me to really consider to be a foot care nurse. I’ve been a cosmetologist for over 12 years in New York State Rochester area, but enrolled in the RN program. I’ve noticed that so many people neglect their feet especially the elderly and I love doing their pedicures. What would you recommend in doing first starting out as a foot care nurse once I graduate? Should I work for a podiatrist or get my certification as a foot care nurse and then start my own travel foot care business?❤️ 👩⚕️
Hi Katrina, the answer depends on you and what you want to do. If you want your own business then just start your own business, if you want to gain more experience hands on first then work for a Pod. Maybe sit down and write out the pro's and cons of both, maybe that will help you make a decision, either way best of luck! Hi Jess, Where did you get your work bag from please? Your videos are great. I am Health care assistant that works for a District nursing team. I am Enrolling with the Smae institute. I have been looking at being a FHP for a few months now.
That's great news, I trained with The SMAE institute and they are great 👍. I was also a HCA working in a GP practice for many years. Oh, and I bought my Dom bag from C and P medical. I'm not sure they make this bag anymore but you could see if other suppliers have it x x

Ate you in the UK. If so I highly recommend SMAE institute. 👌. With this course you can also go on to do the podiatry degree if you wish as the points will contribute x
