Carolina Moon ( Connie Francis - 1958 ) Decca 66A Gramophone

The American singer Connie Francis was at the height of her fame in the late nineteen fifties & early sixties. Here she is singing “Carolina Moon” which was released on the MGM label in the UK in 1958 , spending six weeks at number one in the pop charts. The record is playing here on a rare green Decca 66A portable gramophone dating from 1956.
