I find these women refreshing because they are true weirdos - - thoughtful, outcast daydreamers, lived with their parents until they were in their mid-thirties--they strike me as genuinely unusual and imaginative people who live and create in a world of their own. So many people in fashion are vapid and aloof, whereas both of these women are very down-to-earth, and truly eccentric.
I love their philosophy of clothe making. It is more than a business but a way to express their art. I have to say that every fashion week, I am eager to see what Rodarte has created. Their creations are breathtaking and literally a breath of fresh air in the fashion world.
I came here to learn how to properly pronounce Rodarte cause I just ordered a shirt of theirs ( which I intend to share in a video) and don’t want to sound like an idiot….and am now completely in awe of the brand. I love them so much more now I know more about them! This is great ❤️
i like these ladies they seem more down to earth and devoid of putting on airs that so many other people in the fashion industry. They are articulate and intelligent without being alienating plus they produce great work.
Loved this interview! I first noticed these two in the Feb 2012 issue of Vogue...the one with Taylor Swift on the cover. Been obsessed with their designs ever since. Very talented :D
I like this interview but at the same time i agree with those who say that Rodarte collections are very poorly done. They may have good ideas and aesthetics but the technical side of their creations is catastrophic.

One of the most authentic and pleasurable interviews I have ever seen, especially from a fashion perspective.

really inspiring.
The negativity people express only shows what you see when you look at yourself in the mirror. Creativity surpasses your words
