Ini coto Maya, di mayjen sungkono. Salah satu yang terenak, segar dibanding coto2 lainnya, krn lbh banyak sere dikuahnya. Juga sambalnya mantap, karena banyak menggunakan tauco. Mereka dulu buka di Ambon, 1990 kerusuhan disana, lalu pindah Surabaya. Buka pertama di brandgang jalan Dr sutomo, dekat hotel regantris. Lalu pindah ke mayjen sungkono
As an Indonesian, I've never even tried this dish. Watching this really makes me want to try it!! And yes you're right, Indonesian food has so many spices, bursting with flavour. I'm proud of our food!
yes! you must. soto medan is also amazing. you got to go to a good place because this was one AMAZING but i tried it again at a random place in Jakarta and it was not as good as this one :)
Coto is different soup like dish from makassar, usually they should be combined with es pallu butung or es pisang ijo as the dessert. In other case soto Lamongan, which is yellow like soup dish. Both taste awesome but completely different
this one was amazing! the couple knew what they're doing! i had it in Jakarta 2 days ago and it wasn't as good as theirs. should have ordered a second serving :/
In makassar so many kind of coto. There a lot authentic dish from makassar, seafood, the best one. Many food vlogger visit makassar for culinery. Mark wiens, nex carlos.
No disrespect for the couple, but Coto Makassar's broth is supposed to be thicker than that, also the colour is supposed to be darker. If you want to try a good Coto Makassar, you need to try it straight from the origin, but even in Makassar, not many Coto shops sell good Coto Makassar. One I shop I can name that is pretty good is the one by the port, I don't remember it's name.
Coto Kuda/Horse originally Jeneponto regency near Makassar, not from Makassar. Jeneponto people bring this dish to makassar. Coto Makassar originaly dish is from cow, not horse. 👍🙏
@@thatevanguy1480 Horse meat tastes tougher than beef, it just like buffalo meat. But many people in Jeneponto says that horse meat is good for your stamina. I don't know is that thing true or not, still being rumour in the community. I prefer eat a coto as a hangover food. 😆😂
The typical Surabaya soup dish is "Rawon"
yea, i tried it! such a unique dish! black broth.
Keren ternyata banyak penjual indonesia yng bisa berbahasa inggris keren👍👍
berarti dulu waktu sekolah tidak suka bolos saat pelajaran bhs inggris...😂😂

I just watched your video in Surabaya yesterday. 😍
Add lime, sambal n kecap manis or soy ketchup will be the nicest taste ever mate...
Buras is also rice but the added some coconut milk
MSG not SUGAR...!
mostly the taste of coto's broth is a little bit plain.. so we used to add some sweet soy sauce, chili, and, lime to make it more flavorful👍
roasted peanut
the real coto makasar usualy using horse meat hahaha, but thats cow

Coto makassar is from makassar, don’t know if this one is authentic or not. Surabaya is not the best for culinary.
