Veterans, their family members, and friends should be prepared in case of a drug overdose - including those caused by opioids, stimulants, or pills that might be laced with fentanyl. VA offers naloxone, an opioid overdose medication, in nasal spray and injectable forms. Naloxone can help reverse an overdose and prevent death.
