- Click on subtitles for Swedish/English. Stockholm underground is often called the world's longest art exhibition. Each of the 100 stations in and around the city have their own style. In this video, I take a closer look at Stadion, next to the old Olympic stadium from 1912. This station, designed by Enno Hallek and Åke Pallarp, opened in 1973 and is part of the northern red line. Sports and music share the space, but it is the giant rainbow that truly dominates this metro station.

Thank you so, so much Marilyn. I was on a great video creating high yesterday. Filmed a bunch, including two metro station videos. Feeling a lot of positive energy coming in this week.
@@TheSwedishLad You are welcome. Glad you were feeling the positive energy and looking forward to videos.😊
I have not visited the station, although it is on my list of places to see when there in June, along with other stations. Thank you for telling about the station and now will understand what I see. ☺️
A good reminder to actually try to visit all these beautiful spots next time I visit.
I'm adding more and more videos so you will have your hands full :)
Tack Martin, soo cool to share.
This was cool to learn about! Thank you as always for helping us learn so much
It is my pleasure and it's a great way for me to learn more about my surrounding culture.
