If you've never experienced ghosting its quite confusing because there is no closure, there are lots of questions. You may get word salad responses. One thing I never did was tell the narc about my past relationship/marriage. Ghosting truly is a blessing even though you may have really fallen for the narc, trust me, let them disappear. They don't deserve you. I had a conversation with a guy last night, he mentioned that I had not called him in awhile. I had to tell him, you're nice but too much. You want attention but not willing to give in return. Not doing one sided relationships. I'm not chasing anyone and don't have any expectations from you either and he's 8 years older than I, knows his issues and not truly willing to do the work. These toxic folks gotta get their life together but not with you. Get healed and set free.
Grown people in emotional traumatized bodies characterized with an outward shell of strength and security, yet hollow and ready to break at any given time. Tail chasers, going in circles of familiarity to avoid the straight path of healing. People, Places, Things, are always at the Narcs reach to avoid the man in the mirror.
My most recent ghosting experience was, I wouldn't answer the phone when a friend called because I was mad about how she last treated me. I wasn't sure what I was going to do about the relationship. She shoots me a text to answer the phone or she'll never talk to me again. That got her an instant block. No one gives me ultimatums. Two years, no contact.

In my case, my love and concern scared her. She knew she was too far gone and wouldn't admit she needed help. She'd never once seen what love was in her life. Only sex was love to her. She ghosted me and when I confronted her, she blamed me for not communication. Just pure lies.
Hell when ANYBODY ghosts you, take it as a favor. & make them stand on it by not letting them back in. & IF you choose to allow access to yourself, keep ‘em at a very unreasonable distance. Don’t let them know shit that’s goin on in your life. Don’t even initiate conversations. They need to do all the work & heavy lifting & jump through hoops to be around you, bc that’s all that they respect, & it creates just enough drama for them to be entertained & thrilled while you still benefit in guarding your peace & sanity. 👍🏾
Oh boy, do I wish..to an extent ... because I want him in my life. But to do so would require ...substantial funds. (I don't care about money. I'm used to being broke...or rather, what I thought of as broke, until I was humbled...A lot...) Anyway he lives on the other side of the world. And I even kept up with my German... (This isnt truly a pity party..I should stop talking.)no ...wait, it is. Otherwise, I wouldn't have mentioned anything. I'm hurting right now. And it sucks. And I wish he was here. Because nights are so hard, I just want to cry. ... and I didn't realize how badly I'm hurting until I started writing, and I'm sorry to trauma dump on you... I just needed to get that out into the universe I think.. I really hope I don't cause you any anxiety. Because, I'm ok too. Not gonna unalive myself at least. I'm getting better. Slowly ish.

They remember how easy it WAS to manipulate us and when we've taken our power back, they feel betrayed. God will make a way for you. Just like he's allowed us to find Leon's channel.
