The ice water + lemons + sugar is something that my friends and I always did at restaurants. Our parents would get us real lemonade if we wanted, but we liked doing it our way. It was fun even if it tasted weird.
You can't make butter by shaking a bottle with cream in it for 10 to 15 minutes. You need to use heavy cream and a butter churn, and it can take a really long time!!! It's been a while since I have done it, but I remember it taking at least longer than a half hour. But, I will say... Fresh butter tastes amazing!!!
I've done that sort of thing with creamer packets. I worked at a hotel, and we left out little half-and-half containers for the coffee maker in guest rooms. Ever since I was a little kid, I really liked the flavor, so I would nab them any chance I could. For one thing, they take a long time to expire-- much longer than milk. And two, my job would get them by the case, so there was always plenty in stock. My higher-ups said they didn't care at all if some went missing, so I'd often snatch enough to fill an entire jug of milk!
