Janelle and Cody, I am SO VERY SORRY THAT YOU ARE SUFFERING from the stringent pain of the loss of your Son. I have no words of wisdom only empathy for your grief. I don't understand many things including this. Draw close to those who LOVE (Present tense because for those who love him so deeply, he will always be Present.) HIM. You desperately need one another for peace and solace. Allow God to comfort you and if you are able understand that Garrison's Dad is suffering through the same storm of grief as you are and having to find comfort knowing that he had never healed his Rift with Garrison. In love this child was made and in love the two of you are forced to let him go. Continue with your gentle Spirit, rage if and when you need to, but don't allow yourself to become a permanent resident in the House that grief built. Oh, of course, you will journey to that place when you need to visit. But don't allow yourself to be locked inside that place of Eternal pain. May God Bless You during this painful time, comforting you as only HE is ABLE.
