Thanks for wonderful video. I want to ask something. Can we plan and manage the trip to phuket, karabi and these koh Samui and nearby islands if we are visiting there first time? Or would you recommend hiring travel agency? What do you suggest?
Loved the video! Perfectly explained everything but can you suggest some of the best budget areas in Koh Samui to stay for a solo female traveller. Accessible to happening places & these spots as well as not far from the main piers as I have to go to Koh Phangan for full moon party

This was my 3rd long term stay on the island and my favorite area to stay is Bo Put as you’re close to the main areas of the island via scooter and also the pier to go to Koh Phangan. I think I do have the front desk WhatsApp number of the condo that I was staying at and they’re able to offer a good deal (better than AirBnB) from what they told me. Anytime is ok :) however you can look up on google to see when is the rainy season for koh samui and try to avoid it if you can to have more time to explore the island and avoid interruptions due to rain and storm

We are shooting for Thailand in sha allah in July we are total 8 family members and youngest is a boy of 15 years old . We pan as follows Bangkok/Phuket/Krabi and Kho samui . I’m personally proposing 3 nights in each instead of staying the full 9 nights in Phuket My proposal to family ; 1 night at Bangkok Shangrila’s hotel river side upon arrival - then moving to Phuket by Airport Staying 3 nights at Phuket/ then moving to Karbi by mini bus with driver on road for appxm 2 hrs 3 nights . From Krabi/ moving by airplane ,If available which i doubt , or ferry like what you did , to Kho Samui 3 nights Kho Samui , then back to Bangkok by airplane 3 nights in Bangkok . Is this a good itinerary ?or shall we do opposite going from Bangkok to Kho samui first 3 nights then Karbi 3 nights then Phuket 3 nights then back to Bangkok 3 nights. I still have a house on Koh Samui for the past 22 yr.s but I dislike Chaweng the most because of the crazy tourists and never went there but liked the Lamai area better and I still live in Thailand and will never go back to the U.S.

Koh Samui was once a very affordable destination.Now it’s Thailands most expensive.
Where In Thailand you get value for money stay?

There was on one of the islands on the tour and another one had a basic stance with snacks and drinks

Hi what are the drone rules in thailand. And how you should carry drone in flight.
No issues for us bringing it to the country - flying it same rules as other places. As long as it’s not a restricted area I didn’t have any problems

I agree with you David - I also enjoyed the vibes at Lamai more (this was the 3rd time back on the Island and felt the same way each time)
