I was there back in May. Really impressive, not only the airport, burt the whole Miniatur Wunderland is an amazing place to visit.

The orbis md11 is a dc10 (it doesn't have winglets)
It's not a DC-10 and not a MD-11, it's a "MD-10". That's a DC-10 where the cockpit was converted into a "glass cockpit" from the MD-11. This type of plane was massive used (and converted) by FedEx. The Orbis MD-10 is also an ex FedEx Aircraft.

Great job getting these take off and landings. My wife and I just got back from Miniatur Wunderland and we had a blast. The funny thing is this is just the airport, they have so much more, and even the airport has so much cool things going on. From the actual departure and arrival board, to the planes taxiing in and the jet bridges attaching to the planes, to the vehicles moving about all over and stopping for the planes, even planes being pushed out from the gates. Simply amazing the staff at this museum do. Great times and have to say for about 20 euros, a hell of a deal.

WEll, they created this planes by themselves. But don't forget, this are toys, who need to run throughout the year, almost every single day... So they need to do compromises.

well. This is a miniatur airport and unfortunately not all model planes have any chance of being in the air one way or other :P :)
