Why does Bona have to be Embiid's backup? Why can't he primarily be what he is. A power forward. I would love to see him play alongside of Embiid. Also, Embiid could rub off on him and make him a better perimeter shooter 🤔
He can't shoot, and it would cause a ton of spacing issues for Embiid

Love this pick! For Knecht fans this is interesting ====Concerns about Knecht's defense are also valid as he isn't an elite athlete and doesn't have great lateral movement, something that can be exploited even further at the NBA level.
Personally for me I wanted a wing more

As for an older player Knecht looked horrible for the lakers today in summer league.. I think we made the right choice
He needs to get rebounds and defend --- who knows what we get -- What is inside him will tell the story. Hes got size - athletic ability - time will tell. I have so much more faith with now in player development compared to years of crap coaches.
Are you talking about Bona? I think he’s strictly a 5 and won’t be able to play with Embiid
McCain will need to improve on rebounds and defend the perimeter of playmaking and reaching to get into his spot quickly and get more opportunities from Maxey together on the floor
Agreed! Not the greatest fit with Maxey but he fills a huge need with his floor spacing

@@ryanrowe1975 Seth curry (whom he is compared too) didn’t avg many rebounds per game. And McCain avg 5rb in college as a freshman. Better than Steph 4 years in college. What guards drafted avg more than 5 rebounds per game? Rebounding is the last of his worries. He will need to improve as a playmaker moreso than grabbing boards.
So now I get to watch everybody pull up from three-point line and jack up at three.🤪 one thing that used to impact a game big time was getting star players in foul trouble then they would have to sit🤫
Number one the Sixers organization did not address the needs this team needed. They were out rebound it for the past three seasons. I say that’s more like coaching too. It’s not hard to box out that takes effort.😮

With all Joel talent, he doesn’t play like a dominant big he wants to live outside shoot threes he should be averaging 15 rebounds a game, but he likes his threes😢
