I think Japan goes out of its way to either make the Chinese anthem as goofy as they can, or just get it over with as quickly as possible. Japan tried to conquer China; in turn, China hates Japan for this.

I think the Czech one is even more obvious. Its harmony is def from Mao era.
it's not the tempo, but the 11th bar. the mao's version has three notes; whereas the current version has two notes only. it has to do with the lyrics.
