Katas Raj complex, also known as Shiva Katas Raj, is situated in District Chakwal and near Kalar Kahar and M2. Katas is believed to be derived from the Sanskrit word katakasa, meaning tearful eyes. Kata's Raj complex is surrounded by a sacred pond which is created by the tears of Shiv who wept for the death of his wife. You can also watch the historical temples of the Pandeev brothers. It is a very historical place about 5000 years old series of temples, Hanuman`s mansion, caves, an old police station, and much more.
