- in the north south land of Pakistan a great history is alive called Katas Raj Temples
which is situated on 19 km far from Kalar Kahar through motor way
three great archiologist professor boher, dr stain and alexender kinghem made research on Katas Raj Temples.
There research work information is available In jhelum gazette book
the book is written by Alender Kinghem
in old this place was called as Kataksha
which converted into short form Katas
there is a one holy pond in the mid of temples in Katas Valley
This valley view drag anyones attention to its history
according to Archeologist between 5 AD and 10 Ad budhist were living in this valley
in budhist era they built thier many holy places called Stupa
acccording to Dr Saleem Statement
stupa were built on high places than ground to perform their religious activities in peaceful envoirnment
in the book Jhelum Gazette it is mentioned that Ashoka raja built this stupa which is 200 high ft but now only 4 ft walls left
Acording to Punjab Archeologists there is stone floor around the stupa
on excavation of stupa they found many carved stones and pillers which were the part of stupa
if we observe the stupa from high point so we can see that there are stairs sems to start from ground and goes to sat garh

I'm from that area , our ancestral village is a couple of hundred meters away from katasraj. FYI haters we have a lot of tourists from India and other places visiting the temple . Also Pakistan government spent many lackhs renovating the temple in recent years. Even though I don't live there anymore, I still like to visit the area every few years because it is a beautiful and scenic area with a lot of history. Kalarkahar, Kehewra salt mines and Katasraj are located here within few kilometres of each other. Instead of preaching hatred and ignorance respect others culture and faith.
But the temple no Indian Hindu architecture.completely changed with Persian architecture.You can compare it with southindian shaiva temple and can feel howuch it has destroyed.No original structure left except the name.all recent structures are erected later with Central Asian architecture.No indian or local architecture

Pakistan muslims should know that their ancestors were Hindus and not Arabs unfortunately invaders from middle Asia and Arabia destroyed local cultures and religion and converted local people to Islam forcefully. Present Pakistan muslims donot want their ancestors religion, culture,and Sindhi or Punjabi names they want only their ancestral land to eat . Cultural slavary equal to death mind it.
