Does the Hotone Ampero sound good?

It sounds great. I love mine. Especially the Vox and Fender cleans...fabulous. Of course, it would sound a lot better if I could play anywhere NEAR that good.
I keep coming back to this video, so tasteful playing and sounds. Also beautiful instrument!
I just got one of these because I wanted something smaller than my Helix floor. I have to say it sounds better than my helix. I dialed in the Marshall in 2 minutes. I could never use the Marshall in the helix because I didn't like the way it sounded. Edit: March 15, 2022 I went back to my tube amps. LOL. They just feel and sound better. I keep the Ampero in my gig bag in case my amp craps out.

This is truly gonna sound crazy, but the Hotone sounds better than the line 6, headrush and boss gt1000. It's the most realistic multi effects pedal that I've ever played. The drives are so analog and real!
Yupp that's why I bought it ,,,after watching a demo of it (( ONE OF THE FIRST DEMOS )) I said to myself """ I JUST GOTTA HAVE THIS TONE !!! """ I'm still jamming it to this day and also have separate stompboxes too

Sounds awesome!! I got my Ampero last year. I have a Headrush, Mooer GE-200, and a Line 6 POD HD500X. Between those 4, I’m always playing with the Ampero. I just wish the unit had more effects and reverbs, especially ParticleVerb. Other than that, it’s a great unit for the price. Hopefully Hotone will come out with a better and bigger brother and not take a step back.
For me, I wish it has a better pitch bend, better octave, synth wave and better reverse delay
I guess any unit has their "I wish has a better this and that" .... but seems is a great piece

Sounds great! Seems to be some consensus the reverb is where it's weak. Think you could plug the ampero into your favorite reverb pedal as an experiment?

Of course, I give it to boss and line 6 with the awesome delays and reverbs but as far as overall tone, I have to give it to Hotone.
