How to install costum firmware on Segway Ninebot G30

- This firmware is for black model of G30 only and you need to press down breakhandle when you start the scooter to activate full speed or it will only go i 26km/h
Dont work if you have firmware 1.7.0 becuse Segway blocked costum firmware in that version. See this video for solution for that.
I know it's for EU users but unsure for the rest if the world.

How to spot wish motor you have?
Serial number on motor starts with 6 then gen 1. If its start with 9 then gen 2 =)
Hi! Any idea why I cannot select the zip or bin/bin.enc file in any app (IAP, ScooterHacking Utility, downG)? I can see the files on my Google Drive and their downloaded versions in Downloads folder, but I cannot select them for upload.
I think you need to download it to you're phone then dont unzip it, you should find it then.
Hej! Detta är egentligen inte relaterat till denna videon, men ser att ni håller på med ninebots scootrar på eran kanal så tänkte att jag frågar här. Jag har en G30 max där min av/på knapp har blivit helt intryckt och inte fungerar längre. Har kollat runt på nätet efter en lösning, men svårt att hitta. Har ni något tips/lösning på detta problemet? Tack på förhand! :)

Du har 3 skruvar på displayen. Skruva upp dom. Ta loss den svarta skyddet. På baksidan av den har du knappen. Tryck ut den igen och känn så knappen sitter rätt igenom. Sätt tillbaka o se att den funkar.

cruise controll didn't work with quadratic curve. you need choose faster acceleration or cruise control.

Cześć, Oddałem moją hulajnogę na seriws aby odblokowało st linkiem i wgrali nowy soft shfw. Zauważyłem że mam inny numer seryjny w aplikacji niż na obudowie i dokumentach zakupowych. Nie wiem dlaczego wpisali inny numer ale czy mogę go spowrotem zmienić na oryginalny numer seryjny tak aby nie tracić zapisanych ustawień i shfw działał tak jak działa dotychczas? Czy zmiana numeru seryjnego jest nieunikniona i musi być inna niż oryginał?
Nej du kan byta serienummer när du har shfw. De spelar ingen roll då. Kan va så att de st linka den o då försvann ditt serienummer o då använde de default istället för o ändra. Men du kan gå in I scooterhacking välj change region o där kan du ändra serienummer som på sidan.

Hur är det med E25D?
Försökte flasha men blev någon error, kan det bero på 1.7.0 versionen och isåfall vart ser jag det?
Oj men de ju en helt annan modell. Kunde blivit utelåst från den. Den ska man inte flasha alls. Bara byta serienummer har ingen guide för de än här. Kom förbi butiken så hjälper jag dig.
@@WattsnabbAB attans då! Jag blir helt förvirrad av alla modeller och vad som funkar och inte funkar… hade jätte kommit förbi butiken men bor i Malmö och ni finns i Stockholm 😩
@@GasteMicki ah ok då är jag med. Kolla alltid efter vilken modell hacket är till för. Om inte din står med så är de kört. Har ingen guide ute men gör såna jobb i butiken. Är ibland nere i Malmö så kan ju hjälpa dig när jag är där. Va går din i nu?
@@WattsnabbAB Ja jag ska hålla utsikt ifall min modell dyker upp. Jag börja även prenumerera ifall du skulle få någon uppdatering angående E25an. Just nu går den i 20km/h och att få upp den till 25 hade ju varit bra, där över är ju alltid en plus i kanten.
Ja vi kan ju försöka hålla kontakten ifall du skulle komma ner till Malmö den närmsta tiden, annars får jag ta en weekend i Stockholm
@@GasteMicki jag åker ner en gång i månaden o man behöver använda appen. Om jag har en E22 inne så kan jag försöka göra en video men ofta så är de rätt stressigt när de väl öppet så hinner inte. Men vi ser.
Hello, I have tried to flash but it is not working. I changed the serial number and the region speed is up to 32 km. But why I can't load flash files or custom ? Since I can change region means it's not locked! Right ?

Hello can you please help. After the flash, I can't see the percentage when it's charhing and the tail light is not flashing. It's charging but it's not showing the percentage
Ok you need to built a firmware for that.
Will the flashed firmware get deleted if I reset the scooter to factory default? I heard that hard reset fixes the issue but I am afraid to lose the firmware that I flashed

Right now all new update on segway have locked scooters again. The only way right now is to st link. See previous video I have where u show how to do it.

I have 1.7.1 DRV, any way to downgrage it? Right now i got "update failed! reason: data format error"
It should work when you use scooterhacking utility
@@WattsnabbAB sadly isn't. When I registered I set US as country and I have still 30km/h max speed all the time but cant upload via scooterhacking utlility. I choose custom rom from file and have this error. BLE: 1.1.4 / DRV: 1.7.1 / BMS 1.5.8 / ESC region: US-G30P

Damn. I have the 1.7.1 firware and was thinking of flashing mine. I can do 32km/h on flat but was hoping for closer to 40km/h.

Yes sometimes you need to change firmware.

Yeah you have an updated version and then it dont work. Need to check this first and then either change controller, use SHFW or st link it.

Yes you have a new firmware in it so need to st link it to work.

@@sauvagebear6857 Its a module to program the ic chip in the controller if you cant program with Bluetooth. You can google for more info.

Hi. Seams like you updated youre scooter in Ninebot Segway app. The new firmware have restricted speed. Just what I think becus have no info on what have been done with the scooter :)

I guess i lost my scooter forever because i realized also that there’s no Ego, drive and sport mood , they are all at the same speed 20kmh and also charging mood has been gone i swear this is so sad ):
And yes from the original app this things happened , the Firmware what came is
BLE 1.1.8 , DRV 1,8,7 , BMS 1,5,8
I tried from (E scooterhacking Utility App)to change the DRV but nothing i also tried to contact the scooter from the original App also i couldn’t
I don’t know what to do it’s really breaking my heart
